Smithville Coffee House & General Store

We stumbled across this gem of a store while exploring this quaint little town. This is an interior designer's candy store!! So many unique accessories and wonderful furniture pieces. The store is beautifully laid out and displayed. The service was very friendly and helpful also. Worth a visit for sure!

Such a cozy and inviting place to grab a coffee. I only had a cinnamon roll so I don't think it's fair to rate the food. The morning barista was friendly and efficient. It's so nice to get a real latte made with a real espresso machine! I went back in the afternoon for a cup of chai hot tea and the person working there at that time was also super friendly and welcoming. Will be back!

Such a cute store to shop for holiday decorations and holiday gifts! The owner and ladies behind the counter were friendly- that good ole southern hospitality ❤

This place brings my heart so much joy. When I walk in, I immediately feel like I belong, like I’m family. Not only is the coffee amazing, but they have beautiful gifts for all occasional. I’ve bought shirts, books, paintings, ornaments and more. I bring all my friends visiting here as a “must see/shop/sip”. I enjoy coming in, grabbing an iced cowboy coffee with oat milk and listening to their awesome music. If I get lucky the manager, Kevin, will chat with me, which I really enjoy. He’s a doll. I genuinely love and appreciate the Smithville General Store being here and making our community smile.

The best coffee in Bastrop county. The owner, Beth, is a doll. Kevin, the manger, is a rockstar and will make you laugh until your heart is content. They have the best gift selection. We brag about this store and grateful to have them in Smithville. I’m always finding something new here and simply can’t get enough.

This is a great shopping experience in Smithville. The store has a plethora of gifts, cooking oils, soaps, books and toys. You should be able to find something for just about anyone, including yourself! The coffee shop in the store is always a necessary stop because you will be browsing for a while!

A small town experience with a little coffee shop. So many yummy treats. The decor ideas were so quaint. We purchased a few souvenirs of our trip.

Very cool shop. I am not much of a coffee drinker but if you stop at the cafe get the "Dirty Beth". It is fantastic.

Very cool gift/coffee shop. The coffee makes Starbucks coffee taste like sewer sludge. Highly recommend!
