I’ve been going to Matu for years now & this is the only braid shop I trust for my braids! The atmosphere is inviting & they never disappoint!!! I feel like Matu & staff are family! 😂

I visited this shop for the first time on 12/22 due to the reviews and was not disappointed. Matu’s customer service was excellent. She was very welcoming and listen to what I wanted. My hair is very short but they were able to braid my hair down and to protect my edges she sewed a net along the sides.She made sure her staff member knew what I wanted and she gave her pointers on how to achieve the crochet style I wanted. She was very quick and did a great job..

I have been going to this braiding salon for the past 7 years and they never disappoint. They ladies are very professional they take their time and their braids are always neat. My daughters love going there as well. Thank you ladies

My micro braids are gorgeous! When I got there I told Matu about other braiding experiences and she listened to me and did a phenomenal job. She even took the time to carefully braid around my edges and didn’t braid the tiny baby hairs. I got the smaller micro braids and they are all small and neat. I am extremely happy with my hair and will be a repeat customer. I will be posting a pic soon.

I just love this studio!! Matu knows plenty about healthy hair care! I came in for lemonade braids & left feeling like Beyonce lol. She even customized a hair color for my braids by mixing shades! If you really want to be impressed ask her about becoming a 1st time home owner😉. Thank you Matu!!!

I love Matou and the staff. I’ve been coming here for a few years now and I’m never disappointed. The girls always take care of me and they have gentle hands (which is perfect since I’m tender headed.) My braids are always on point. I always bring a picture and they usually give me what I want. My oldest went to Matu in her teen years. She’s 26 now. My younger daughter has been going since she was 11 years old, she is 17 now. Her appt is Saturday. Matu and her staff do a thorough job, and we are never disappointed with the results. Highly recommend.

I went there today for the first time and it was the best braiding experience ever. She listened to me when I asked her not to braid too tight. She was fast and was just very kind. Thank you Matu I love my lemonade braids!

Matu helps you keep your look polished and takes great care of you. Oh and don’t forget to try the body butter (a pedicure in a jar). To keep your edges strong, ask about he hair product for edges. It REALLY works!!!

Omg! Finding this place was a true lifesaver since moving to Texas! Matu has been braiding my hair for almost two years. Box braids, knotless, jumbo straight backs, you name it…..they GOT YOU!
