Denton Calvary Academy

We have loved our time at Denton Calvary. Our eldest is enrolled, and when our other kids are older, we plan to enroll them as well! It is the perfect mix of a Christian private school + homeschooling.

The teachers and administration are fantastic - and they partner with you in the learning experience (so that you don't feel like you're on your own).

There is great communication, and plenty of social activities to keep everyone connected. Looking forward to future years here!

Our family has benefited from Denton Calvary Academy more than we could have imagined since enrolling 3 years ago.

We had always imagined sending our children to the public school down the road from where we live, but as registration for kindergarten neared my husband and I wanted to explore our options. After visiting the school and meeting with the faculty and staff, we knew Denton Calvary Academy was an option for us.

We now have all of our children at the school, and have been so pleased with the quality of education as well as the heart behind it. The teachers we have had are Godly women that lead the students toward Christ as well as equipping them with academic excellence.

The University Model has helped our family by creating margin in our daily lives. We are able to connect and focus on our family (and our values) during off-campus days and weeknights. I feel like this model helps us stay connected as a family (off campus days) while allowing ample socialization and friendships (on campus days).

We recommend Denton Calvary Academy to families that are Christ focused and find value in investing (time, talents, and treasures) into a ministry that educates generations to come.

We have loved every minute our children have been at Denton Calvary! The teachers are beyond amazing and the education they have received has been Biblically-based and thorough. I have two sons graduating this year, heading off to college in the Fall. I feel confident they are prepared, both academically and spiritually, for whatever this new phase in life holds. Additionally, the sports teams, clubs, and extracurricular activities my children have been involved in has trained them not only in honing their particular skill level, but have prepared them in overall life skills. I am thankful God led us to Calvary. That single decision has been a game changer for our family, and we will forever be grateful for Calvary!

Denton Calvary Academy was the best decision we made for our daughters education. She is surrounded by Teachers who are loving, supportive and teaching biblical based education. As a family we feel supported for our home days and get to be a part of our child’s education. We love the extra time we are given in the University Model School structure with our family unit. We are thankful for our DCA family and highly recommend it for anyone in the Denton area.

Calvary provides a wonderful learning environment where my kids can thrive, even in the midst of a pandemic. They actually beg to go to school each day. After Christmas break, we had to tell my 6 year-old son to go back to sleep at 4:00 am. He was so excited to go back to school to learn and see his friends.

Our daughter has been at Denton Calvary for two years now and it has been the most wonderful experience for our whole family. She has thrived and grown so much in her education, her confidence and her spirituality. The teachers there are the most loving and caring souls you could ever meet.

Denton Calvary Academy is an exceptional school that offers an education from a biblical worldview. In today’s political climate and ever-changing views on what’s right and what’s wrong I am so happy my children are at a school where God and His Word are top priority in decisions made for our school. They understand the importance of family and and still provide just about everything you could get at a public school. This is our 9th year at DCA and moving here is one of the best decisions our family has ever made. My kids are thriving and enjoy there time at school and satellites days on Tuesday & Thursday.

We have been at Calvary for 10 years and experienced every grade except for one. My kids have been blessed through the teachers, friendships and experiences at Calvary. It is a wonderful school.

There is no other school we’d send our children to! The teachers and staff are amazing, and DCA has become our extended family. The education our children are receiving is top notch, and we couldn’t be happier.

I have been here since 6th grade, and even now as a senior in high school, I have always felt at home here. The students are very sweet and the teachers teach very well! I hope you too will come and join our DCA family.

We love it here! Our 3 kids have all attended since Kindergarten. It is a wonderful community and an excellent place for kids to learn and grow.

The students are being shaped by a loving Christian staff and teachers. The instruction is Gospel-centered and Christ-exalting. DCA is preparing missionaries to go into the world with truth on their lips and love in their hearts.

Best school ever so many sports and everyone is so nice

This is our first year here, and we love it!

Some teachers here are top tier. Geography really prepared me for a hard workload in the future. I guess I’ll be able to face college when it comes. Who can truly say?

Okay curriculum (Bob Jones University's curriculum sucks) and and teachers are very hit or miss (some of the teachers here are amazing). If you are not a popular kid and don't have any interests besides fortnite, tiktok, and sports you will probably not fit in and then be excluded by everyone else. Lots of people say everyone was really nice but obviously everyone is not nice :( . The teachers were the best part of this school for me.
