Holiday Inn Express & Suites Alvarado, an IHG Hotel

Great room. Good price. Stayed 3 nights. Staff cleaned rooms daily.

Amazing stay. Very clean, good breakfast options. Had the whole pool and hottub to myself on a Sunday. Lots of options for food in walking distance.

The indoor pool was very impressive. It was a nice size and very cold. The best part was that it didn't stink like chlorine. The hottub was perfect 🥰

First off, Jon was the best. These days great customer services isn't a guarantee.. And he set the mark by creating a wonderful customer experience. So thanks for that.
Rooms are nice. This specific stay, my room had remnants the previous guest, but no biggie. It was clear it had been cleaned.
Shower was great, love the dispensers.
Pool was phenomenal. Wish you all had a rule that adult swim was 10-11p Anyway, overall pleasant and accommodating stay. Will maintain as my preferred hotel. Especially for those points :)

Customer service is great. Very clean and friendly environment. They do offer free breakfast in the morning and Wifi is not bad. Pet friendly. The location is good. You got fast food restaurants right around you.

Trinity was great .. hotel is clean and tidy. Quality breakfast. I had to extend my checkout due to having a few meetings from the hotel and trinity was really helpful. Highly recommend this place if you are staying in this area for the night. A lot of restaurants close by for a late night snack.

The hotel is dated compared to others and that is reflected in price. The bed was just as comfortable. Could use some better lighting in room but that is not a major issue. Clean place to rest for the night. Will keep on our stay list for future. Road noise wasn't as bad as some locations. Lots of food choices around. Convenient location.

This hotel is a good value for the location and price. Clean and safe are the main requirements for me. TV's were a bit small. Staff was kind. Pancake machine worked great with the included breakfast.

CLEAN!!!, modern, big rooms. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast has great selection. Pool and hot tub. Well light parking. Family and kid friendly. Open areas to sit and visit inside hotel. Lobby even has ice cold water with fruit slices, cups and ice for guests along with coffee, cocoa, and hot tea 24/7. Someone always on staff at front desk. Staff makes the experience even better. They are friendly and very accommodating. Someone is constantly working in the background cleaning to keep things fresh and welcoming. Wi-Fi has good speed. Extra towels no problem, toiletries no problem, extra pillows or blankets no problem. We have stayed here visiting family and friends 4 times and have always enjoyed the experience.

The area of the hotel is nice and parking is plenty. Front desk people were friendly and greeted us when we came in. The banquet hall was nice and clean for a birthday event. 20 people fit comfortable. Overall great for the banquet hall. Did not stay in a room.

Excellent staff here. I stayed here a year ago for Savage Race and did the same this year. At this point I won't even look elsewhere with how accommodating the staff was. Requests were granted and even though I didn't submit a breakfast and may have been out of luck the 2nd night, they still had my day 1 request saved and had a bag for me.

We ended up pulling into this hotel at about 3 in the morning on our way to Corpus Christi. We found it to be very clean, convenient, and comfortable. The staff was very accommodating, particularly Roman who was able to find us a room at the last minute. We will be staying here again when we come back to Texas. The breakfast in the morning was also very good.

The front desk clerk WAS so pleasent to my mother. The roomkeeper Janie was very Texan, she gave her more towels and emptied her trash as requested then said have a good day...Y'ALL. Loved the sweet accent. Good job choosing your staff. We also enjoyed the "Jettsons" like instant pancake machine at breakfast. Push a button and it spits out a couple of fresh pancakes. Pretty neat!

Holiday Inn Espresso Alvarado is a nice clean place to day a night or a weekend. We stayed one night. The breakfast was missing imal but clean and staff friendly the pool was refreshing to see but we did. It use it due to time constraints. Would I recommend? Absolutely.

Only issue I had was at checkout at 8:15am. Upon checking out I asked for 2 breakfast bags which I was denied.

My beautiful friend girl asked for us as I loaded up the car and SURPRISE staff where able to make the bags.

I spoke with management and begin to tell what just took place. In mid sentence the manager said it was training issues.

I hope Holiday Inn Express is not turning into a Motel.

I can not say enough good things about this hotel!!! If u are thinking of choosing then it's a definite yes! We had the nicest staff♡ the desk lady Nichole was amazing! Ty so much for going above and beyond! I forgot to take pictures but our room was clean and perfect.

When I got to the front desk the night auditor Shirley was absolutely stunning. She went above and beyond making sure my stay was wonderful. She treated me like gold. As an employee of a different holiday inn i understand the ins and outs and the standard to which we hold ourselves. She went way above that. Absolutely will return.

Room was large and relaxing.
Clean and comfortable
Breakfast was wonderful
Staff was prepared and met all our needs.
I'll definately stay here again.
