My kiddo got into archery with school, she showed an interest so I got her a bow after some internet research. Took my kiddo here with her first bow (PSE) and me knowing literally nothing- they were wonderful in getting her set up, getting her everything she needed, not making me or her feel stupid. Giving her pointers and confidence. I believe the man we dealt with was Tony. He didn’t try to upsell us anything knowing this was her first and mom wants to make sure she likes it before we invest too much. Very pleased with the experience! Can’t wait to get her there regularly to shoot her new bow! The membership is super affordable! There is not another place like this around. The people at academy literally told me to go there cause they knew nothing about left handed

I’ve never touched a compound bow in my life. Came here last night. Simeon helped me! I’ve got to say- he did a great job in educating me on everything from proper pull back to stance to holding my bow. Left the store last night feeling confident in my ability to get better. If you ever come here ask for him. He was very helpful

I'm completely new to compound bows. I went here to buy my first and the employees have the best customer service of any place I've ever been. Exceptionally helpful and nice. Walked me through everything I would need asked my price range and helped me reach it. Then took me back to the range and made sure I was happy with my purchase.

Staff very helpful and knowledgeable. They had me addicted to archery within 30 minutes of being there. Also an amazing place to learn and develop your skills. Clean, efficient and family friendly. God bless Texas!!!!!!

These guys are absolutely awesome. I walked in having not shot a bow in several years, with a bow that was great but needed some TLC. They got me all fixed up, coached me up, and made the whole experience feel like I was just one of the guys at their shop. The range is also awesome, and again, it’s a family feel in there so they came out and helped me sight in my bow in very nonintrusive way and I was dialed into the bullseye in not time. It’s the only place I will go for my archery needs moving forward, period.

Bought my daughter a bow here a week or two before Christmas. I showed up the week after Christmas to get her fitted, they were busy……Young man named Simiean helped us out. He spent time with us, made adjustments to fit my daughter, never made us feel rushed and went over some basics with using a bow.

I appreciate him and hope the owner will see this. Lucky to have him working there

I’m just a weekend warrior and kept threatening to take my bow up there last year for new strings. I didn’t take care of them like I should. The weekend before last they popped. I took it up there and they went above and beyond to get some strings on my bow I picked it up Friday and got a doe on Sunday. My bow hasn’t felt this good sense I bought it. These guys know their stuff and are very friendly. They got me as a customer and honestly as far as bow hunting I’ll only go to them for now on. Way better customer service than the bow desk at bass pro. They are very generous with their bow knowledge. Going back in a few weeks to get a new QAD

My first time there I was getting my old bow tuned for some hogs, the folks there were great, especially Simeon who did the work on the bow, went back again to purchase some arrows, my wife ended up getting me a brand new bow for my birthday, put new set of strings and cables, and new dropaway rest, Steve did the Work on that one, came in couple weeks later after killing a hog with it, to check the tune, and Simeon put the Midas TOUCH on it, another tech worked on my Scott recon release, Great place to do business, Thanks AA!

I live in Dallas and usually take a trip up to gateway archery in Fort Worth for any bow needs but decided to take a trip down south to this spot. Tyler got my Hoyt tuned up and ready real quick. I was pleased with the service and will definitely be back for any other needs. I highly recommend this place to anyone due to friendly staff, knowledgeable techs, and the products sold for a nice rig!

Best archery shop I have been to! They restrung my bow and helped me tune it perfectly! Even took the time to teach me a few things about archery!

I was new to bow hunting. Always intimidated by going to a bow shop to get a bow due to my lack of knowledge. Finally checked out Alvarado Archery and haven’t turned back. Top of the line service, staff, facilities, and even customers. I used a “big box” to buy a bow, but had to have AA fix what the “big box” couldn’t and now I am leaps and bounds ahead. Couldn’t ask for better service. Worth the drive and time to have a team that remembers YOU, cares, and enjoys to talk about hunting/bow stores.

I’m completely new to archery. The two times I have gone in, I have learned more than I was planning to. The staff is helpful and coaches newbies. Great customer service.

I dry fired my bow a week before an Africa trip and had it restrung at scheels where they informed me that the bow would never paper tune. These guys got everything tuned perfectly in no time. Excellent service.

Great people ,great customer service I’ve been there to get a Peep sight in my compound bow, and to to restring my crossbow plus they checked my bows limbs and got the parts in 10/10

Great place! Friendly, professional, Steve fixed me up with new serving and D loop then worked on top hats to get it shooting bullet holes again. Then recited in on range and charged me half what it was worth all the time and work. They will get you fixed up with what you need. Will be back.

Alvarado archery has always been top notch. Recently purchased a new bow and took it in to get the draw length changed, rest installed and a peep and d-loop installed. Ended up buying a new site(cheaper then any of the big box stores had it, significantly!) And getting it paper tuned and ready. Tyler knocked it out of the park, and he's another south paw at that. Told them I wanted to stay and shoot the range for awhile, told me to go ahead, no charge. Price was half what I expected to pay for everything I had done. First shot at the range was within 4 inches of bull and hadn't touched anything. Few adjustments and was stacking groups. Can't go wrong with this shop, do yourself a favor and pay them a visit for all your archery needs. They will always have my business.

Top Tier Service:

So I just bought a brand new sr350. Dropped it and broke my cams within an hour of owning it. Called 2 shops before Alvarado. Told them the much longer and mote tragic version of this story. Tyler was amazing. He sympathized with my plight and instead of having me wait a week to order new limbs, he took them off a lefty bow, ordered more for their own inventory, installed them and even cut some slack on the price. Amazing customer service. It was worth the hour drive and the extra $300 after I just spent 15 hundred dollars

Every time I have been to Alvarado Archery shop I leave there extremely satisfied and full of new information and skills. I was new to Archery last season but after shooting over 100 shots a day now feel confident and very accurate. Lots of wear and tear on strings from too much use and these guys help me and teach me new things each time I go there.

Got a new bow here and they helped me fully set it up! Fantastic customer service will definitely be back for future needs!!!

The guys at Alvarado Archery were awesome! Got me fitted and setup with a used bow! Great price! Took their time with me to make sure I was ready to go. Even called me later to let me know I had left an arrow. I will definitely be going to then for any archery needs in the future!
