Georgia's Catfish Kitchen

I came across this place while looking on Maps for restaurants in the area and saw there were some great reviews!
I ordered the 12 piece combo that came with 4 catfish filets, 4 shrimp, and 4 oysters and I chose red beans and rice and onion rings for the sides. Another reviewer said they are the best onion rings they ever had, and I have to agree. They're huge and crunchy and tasty along with their unique tarter sauce.
The shrimp were huge and delicious and the oysters were my favorite part, perfectly crispy and not over cooked. The catfish were decent size and perfect as well. Everything was top tier fried food that makes you feel good!

found it on Google decided to try it and it was GREAT!!! The new hot sausage PO BOY is BUSSIN' !!! They use the AUTHENTIC HOT SAUSAGE just like in New Orleans and the house sauce they put on it is really good. My wife and I tried small servings of a bunch of different things in the menu and everything was good ! NOT over done/seasoned , not greasy, not fried too hard it was just right!!! WILL BE BACK SOON

My first time patronizing this restaurant was yesterday and I’ve always passed by this establishment for the past year or two and never stopped, but I wanted some fried fish and I said let me give it a try. I can honestly say that my food was hot when I received it, there was a wait but I didn’t mind because I like my food cooked fresh. The fish portions were a good size and they were meaty and cooked well. The shrimp and fries were cooked evenly and seasoned well and the red beans and rice was quite tasty. I enjoyed the tartar sauce too. I’m not sure if they make it themselves or if it’s a particular brand, had a nice thick consistency and went well with the fish. I saw that they had some type of putting desserts in the cold case, but I didn’t get one because I’m not supposed to have the fried fish so I really didn’t need a dessert lol. I made a call to the owners this morning to let them know that I will be back to visit their establishment and they were very appreciative and welcoming of the compliment.

This was my first visit to the restaurant and at first I was somewhat taken back because they only have two type of fish that they serve, well I have you to know that the up-charge was worth it. The fish was grilled to perfection and seasoned just right( my hat off to the chef) and very very tasty. The fried fish was damn good(of course that would be my entree) 🤤🤤
The hush puppies are delicious (and not dry at all) seasoned to perfection. I will be back to visit and thank you for your professionalism it speaks volumes.

I found another jewel and this time it's in HUMBLE!!! I had plans to meet up with a friend to make up for missing her birthday dinner a few weeks ago, so I looked for a Black owned business close to her side of town and found Georgia's Catfish Kitchen on Google and let's just say we BOTH ended up leaving with great gifts!! From the friendly welcome to the awesome assistance with ordering, Scott was a pleasant representative of the GCK brand. From the mouth-watering assortment of freshly prepared items on the menu, I selected the regular size Catfish & shrimp box which came with not 1, but TWO sides.... I selected for and Seasoned green beans and I HAD to try a cup of the gumbo. The fish & shrimp were seasoned perfectly and were fried JUST RIGHT!! The only thing I didn't like about the gumbo was that I got a cup when I should have gotten a BOWL!!! EVERYTHING WAS DEEEEEE-LICIOUS!!! I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!!!

Today I only wanted onion rings because they are always BUSSIN' 🤤 Everything is delicious and fresh prepared. Does not disappoint 😁

Very was very good. Prices were very reasonable. Will be going back.

This was our first time at Georgia's and must say, will not be the last. It was very good. Great flavor and seasoning. We had the catfish, oysters, shrimp, red beans and rice, green beans and hush puppies... and man it was good. The gentleman at the counter was personable with a great attitude!! Felt like we had went to see family!! Good luck with that grand baby!!!! ❤

My sister and I went today for dinner and were very impressed by the customer service and then we tasted the food. We both had catfish and shrimp combos. My sides were green beans and jambalaya. Then added a cup of gumbo. Being a Louisiana girl, I give them two thumbs up. The catfish was fresh, flaky and flavorful. The green beans were crisp and also full of flavor and the gumbo was definitely Louisiana style. I will definitely return.

The food is good, fresh and tasty! I would've given it a five but it's a little on the salty side. I always order beforehand and it's pretty quick to be ready.

KISS THE CHEF! Im so stuffed I can barely review! Your food was amazing, the customer service was very inviting. The restaurant was very clean. You will see me again

Wow! Just... WOW! The food is REMARKABLE!!! Each item is flavorful and made fresh-to-order. For a restaurant, the prices are surprisingly affordable. $25 fed two adults with the portion sizes. The owner, Scott, has a great backstory, too! It's worth having a sit down and listen. Highly-recommended eatery! Again, I say: WOWWWWW!!!

This place was awesome! The food was hot and delicious. Fish and shrimp were fried nicely. They have some of the best onion rings I ever ate! We will be back.

I walked 30minutes each way to try Georgia's Catfish, and trust me it was worth it. The food was AMAZING, the people were kind and heartwarming and the atmosphere was great. I ordered the catfish basket, with hushpuppies and coleslaw. Watermelon mint lemonade and banana pudding. Everything was delicious. Will be back soon!!!

I has the catfish and shrimp basket with green beans and French fries. Everything was good! I especially enjoyed the fresh green beans. I sent my sister back up there for our dinner, but the kids ate my plate before I could. I made sure I put my two sides of green beans to the side. Lol. I was going to get some food for the road, but unfortunately they are closed today. I will be back next time I’m in town though!

Very very good. Hug portions, very tasty. The fish are amazing. The shrimp are also really good. Make sure you are hungry, the portions are very large. The gumbo is excellent.

First time and it was so delicious! The red beans and rice were just like Mom would make. Green beans were seasoned perfectly. But the catfish and shrimp, oh my gosh, fabulous! I'm going again and trying the fish tacos!

Great place for fish and all the fixings. Staff is always friendly and ready to make your order fresh.

The food was fabulous, and the dining area needed a little clean. The attendant seemed a bit confused about some of the orders as they came out.

10 out of 10!!! Definitely recommend! The fish was outstanding! I will be back to try the boiled shrimp!
