Hands down the best Chinese restaurant I've been to in the Houston area in my opinion. The food is always great and you don't have to like Chinese food, they have Americanized food too; Like pizza. Sushi bar is always great. Dessert is always great too. Service is always great too. They're always on top of refilling your drink before you even have to ask for it. It's been my favorite for years. Absolutely love this place. I highly recommend this place if your feeling Chinese food. Have someone that's not crazy about Chinese food? Bring them anyway, I can almost guarantee they're still like the food here.

It’s the highlight of my week. It’s the highlight of my month. It’s the highlight of my year when my sister busts down the door at 6PM and says get up. We’re going to Café east it raises a passion in life for me that I thought was gone forever. It’s always the days that I have to take a shower though and I don’t have time because she gives me 20 minutes to get ready but I don’t take a shower. I just put my shoes on and I go. The food, the fun, the atmosphere the crowd, the broccoli 10 out of 10

Average chinese food! Good variety of food...I just hate its so big that by the time you get to the table...your food is cold!!

I've eaten here several times. My dine in experience has always been great. My take out has been great also. The food is just delicious. My absolute fav is the sushi bar and the the fresh hand made spring rolls. Mm mm good.

Some people must think this place is a top tier 5 star restaurant, it's a high volume buffet at a relatively low cost. If you really really want good food and superior services, you can go other expensive buffets and pay $30-$50 per person. Reading some of the reviews post here made me laugh out loud, do they expect free water coming from water bottles? Almost every restaurant serve tap water unless you asked for a bottle water which this place serves purified water. I have ate here many times, I have never seen quarter sized sushi, even today. The servers are nice and remembers my drinks whenever I come, I also tip them at least $3 when alone and $5 to $10 when in group.

We go here frequently for family time. Always a good environment and good food

I like this place. Most of the time the food is really good on the weekend cause during the week the food looks like it has stayed for a while in there.

We were seated quickly. The food was pretty good. My kids love it here. This was their first experience with sushi and they were really enjoying it. Food was hot and fresh. Staff was friendly.

Actual decent food. Many buffets taste like plastic but this food especially the lomein is very enjoyable

Despite the negative reviews I came across, I decided to take a chance and visit this location for myself. To my pleasant surprise, it turned out to be quite the gem. The spacious setting, delightful aroma as I walked in, and the genuinely friendly staff all added to the positive experience. Contrary to the reviews, the restrooms were clean and well-maintained. I am inclined to believe that people may have misunderstood or overlooked the true qualities of this place. I am even considering revisiting in the future.

However, it is important to note that parking can be quite challenging due to its popularity.

The BBQ pork ribs and the beef ribs are super tender and amazing. The rest of the food is great too.

100% recommended. Above average service for a buffet and the sushi alone is worth the price!!!

I went 8/8/23 to eat with my family. The customer service was great. The waitress gave us great customer service and she was checking us we need more refils on our drinks. Cafe East is a great place to eat.

The food is good & hot ,they filled up the empty food trays quickly. Reasonably priced, they seem to be understaffed the few waitresses were running fast to keep up with the overabundance of customers. Please tip the waitresses well they work very ,very hard !!

We stumbled into their place while looking for a place to drink coffee after going shopping. My mother and I cappuccino, croissant sandwich and a marbled pound cake. We enjoyed it so very much! Everything was very delish and I am very picky about my cappuccino, not easily impressed.
