We(family and I) come to this place ofter. We love the food, the great service, but most of all the all you can eat cornbread with cinnamon butter is delicious! I highly recommend this place if you like country food. They don't have the sweet potatoes side on the list but is really good.

Wow. Never fails. Worth the trip over here 1000%. Best chicken fried steak that I've ever had. Thin (not chewy) and massive. The reviews speak for themselves.

Amazing food and service! The chicken fried steak was delicious and tender, and everything else tasted great as well. Will definitely be going back! We ordered the Café Country breakfast and the Deluxe Country breakfast.

This place was amazing 🤩! Building from 1914! Food was homemade like my Grandma would make it with love. We got a history of the building and the area. Server Edward was the best. :) Eager to go back with more family.

This the place to be for home cooked food!!! First time there and it was delicious! I tried their chicken and dumplings and man it’s way better than Cracker Barrel’s. My friend did the fried green tomatoes and fried mushrooms and she said it was good. The cornbread was moist and falling apart. I loved everything about it! The tea was also good! Friendly staff and a cute environment restaurant. I highly recommend and I’ll definitely be back!

Absolute BEST down home country cooking! Atmosphere included. Gives you a BIG country feel in the city. Refreshing! Their Breakfast selection is the Best!! Homemade biscuits with a side of gravy. One word... Yummy! They stop serving Breakfast at 11am, so get there early! 😋

This was my first visit here. I love that you can get breakfast till 1 pm. I ended up trying the daily special - chicken and dumplings. It was really good. There was a huge selection on the lunch menu and we got cornbread with cinnamon butter. I will be going back to try the breakfast!

Great diner! Great food, we will definitely be back. We drove from Baytown to check it out. We had the breakfast and will be back to check our their lunch menu. Service was great and the staff was friendly and greeted us with smiles. They rang a little bell bc it was our first time. Go check them out.

This is an amazing location. Truly a gem! The only downside is the lack of parking available nearby. Well worth it tho'! Servers rock! (We had Nicole.) Bring your appetite because the food portions are super generous and delicious. Highly recommend this for your family meal or even for a date!

Super nice staff. Love the candy section, pretty old school and a lost tradition. The breakfast tacos were amazing. I had a few hours until my flight and I am happy that the Waze app "suggested" this restaurant since the town is nearby the airport. Highly recommend!

My family has been going to Humble City Cafe for over 20 years now and my younger brother and I both worked there in our late teens, early 20's.
It was always such a great experience on both sides as a customer and an employee. Fresh hot cooked meals, outstanding service, friendly understanding bosses, tips were always great.
Never had anything bad to say, nothing negative, never disappointed.
This past weekend although the service was great the food was not. Far from being anywhere near close to being good.
Hamburger buns burnt, bacon burnt, catfish burnt,
Everything had very taste.
Very disappointing!

First time trying this place, I definitely recommend. As soon as we walked in we were acknowledge and took us to a table. Waitress was very helpful and our drinks were never running low. "Coffee and water" Food was served nice and hot, and the taste was just right. Bacon extra crispy too...

Great comfort food spot. Good old fashioned American style food, in a laid-back country style setting. I lived in Missouri for a long time and it made me feel like I was back there again. Food was great, the hostess and server were both very friendly too. Prices are fair for what you get. If you want super cheap go fast food, if you want good food go here.

On this evening I got a chance eat dinner Humble City Cafe along with my Fraternity Brother/Best friend, his daughter along with his Fiancée. I was invited to this Restaurant my Ms. Imelda. I am very sorry that she was not on duty. Anel is the name of the waiter who assisted us with excellent customer service. This is the Cleanest restaurant as well as the lavatories areas that I have seen in a very long time. Lastly, thank you all for everything and Excellent, Excellent Customer Service!!!!!!

Really good brunch place! Reminds me of some of the places I ate at growing up. It has lunch and breakfast menu you can choose from.

Wow, .. this place is awesome! Totally homemade food .. very kitchy decor that kept us looking around the entire time we were dining! .. The mushroom and swiss burger was yummy, with fried green tomatoes! ( I haven't had that option in a long time) my wife had the chicken strips with onion rings. The cold slaw was obviously homemade and delicious! .. The best part of the meal by far was our waitress; Stacey M. She was so upbeat, knowledgeable about the menu and fun! .. she offer us a huge variety of different dessert options, .. she explained how big the 🍰 cake was. So we opted for the piece of lemon cake .. we shared between the two of us. We can could have shared with two more people as big as it was. But it was so delicious we ended up eating the whole piece. Yikes .. one of the best dining experiences in a very long time ... To give them 5 stars in definitely not enough! Thanks Humble City Cafe!

Huge portions, reasonable prices AND delicious food. Also unique gifts and antiques to purchase. I am sorry I forgot to photograph the food. It was so yummy. Service was friendly too and fast for our party size of 36!

Nice old place with a lot of history since it opened its doors, in a special place: old historical Humble town, in Texas.
Great food, awesome people working hard to make you feel special and welcome.
From a morning coffee and a tasty breakfast, to a delicious dinner, if you like the traditional country style dishes, here you can find some good ones.
Definitely coming back soon!

Anything people order here is delicious!! Been a customer for many years and have always liked the great service from the servers. Always friendly. Every now and then drinks and the starter corn bread takes a while to make it to the table but once you taste it, you forget about the time you waited for it.
