Super 8 by Wyndham Alvarado

Promptly greeted at the front desk by a very nice man. I felt as if we were a guest at his home. He was exceptionally courteous, professional and accommodating.
Rooms were clean, quiet and well maintained. Photos provided on website are 100% accurate.
Even the swimming pool area was tidy and crystal clear in December. That alone is a mark of commitment to a higher standard.

My husband and I stayed here several nights on a road trip to see family at Christmas. The management is so nice and super friendly and made special accommodations for us. I love the laminate flooring that has the appearance of wood but is synthetic. It’s so much cleaner than having carpet that many different strangers walk on. The rooms have outdated 50-year-old decor, but that’s probably standard for any Super 8 hotel and isn’t a reflection of management. Their breakfast includes cereal, yogurt, muffins, fruit, waffles, juice, and coffee.

It’s absolutely nice, always clean place to stay.
The staff is very friendly and ready help.
Convenient to park with a long trailer.
I love to stay at this hotel. Highly recommend.

The amenities and staff here are awesome. The gentleman that works the front overnight is super attentive and very friendly. The hotel is one of the nicer Super 8's we have stayed in. It's clean and the parking lot is well lit. Would definitely stay here again!

I stayed here traveling through on business. I am a hotshot truck driver, so I frequent hotels. I was impressed! They had room for me to park my hotshot with a 45' trailer. The rooms were clean, a/c already on at 65. That is very helpful with the Texas heat. The staff was friendly, professional, and courteous. Updated technology. Even the mirror in the sink area was touch on/off once you flipped the switch. I will stay again if in the area. Highly recommended for a comfortable, friendly, and cost efficient stay.

I may have even reviewed before. I have stayed here several times. I love the people. The night guys Andy and Paul are super nice and friendly. The ladies during the day are as well. I really like the front desk lady but I always forget to ask her name.

The place is super clean and I have no issues with anything at all here.

During the day, these ladies are cleaning rooms, the lobby, everything, every time I see them. Ask if you need anything, don't force cleaning of the room if you say you don't need it. I show them though so they don't get worried I'm leaving a mess.

They'll give clean towels daily. And if you ask I'm sure they'd do your sheets daily, but I find that wasteful.

We had a really great stay here over the 4th of July weekend. It was nice and quiet, almost no noise from any other visitors at all. I am so happy to find a hotel that not only welcomes pets for a reasonable "rent" ($15/night fee per pet) but also has smoking rooms. The beds are firm, pillows are fluffy, cute little coffee maker, big TV with cable, and the bathtub is a good size. We didn't use many of the other amenities like the hair dryer or iron, but I'm glad they were there had we needed them. I only had one big drawback: I was really looking forward to swimming, but the pool water was bright green. It looks like it needs to be "shocked" with chlorine real good to clear the water up. Other than that, no issues. The front desk staff is very welcoming and friendly and checking in & out was a breeze. We will definitely keep this location in mind whenever we need to get out of the city.

Clean rooms, nice staff. Missed the little bottles but it makes sense. Dispensers could use a lock! Overall a great stay. Have been to the area every year for 12 years, first time here and this will be the only place we go to from now on!

I enjoyed my stay there. The rooms were clean and you get breakfast the next day.

Checked in late . The front desk clerk on day of 06-07-2022 that worked the late shift was super nice ! His customer service was exceptional . Thank you to whoever you are ! The room was clean and spacious . It’s close to the food places . Will recommend and stay again

The stay was great the rooms were spacious and comfortable. They have free continental breakfast. The rooms are really quite at night. I do recommend this Hotel.

The staff was very friendly, the rooms were very clean, the hotel was very quiet, the location was just behind the Motorhome RV Specialist.

Wed reserved a room at motel 6 in Alvarado but when we got there they'd booked it. Frustrated and tired we had to look for another room for a weeks stay. Wed been traveling over 8 hours that day. We came to this hotel & the gentleman showed us the rooms before staying. New beds and carpet. Breakfast is nothing over fancy but enough variety to make us and our 2 teen daughters happy. They made sure our rooms were clean and always gave us extra towels when needed . Everyone was so friendly and nice. The beds were very comfortable and you have a microwave and small fridge.

A lil hard to get to due to construction but they was very nice , and amazing texas shaped waffles ,yogurts and cereal for breakfast.

The staff go beyond showing their guest hospitably. Clean, smells great, the pool was wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel. They even have 18 wheeler parking. Just dont get too excited over free breakfast its cereal and toast. Didnt bother me for the price. Great overnight stay
