Via Rosa 11

My sister knew about this place, we planned a whole weekend around it! Came here for a late lunch two days in a row and was delicious. Tried the special on the first day, great suggestions from the staff, spot on answers to my questions. The ravioli are amazing, the pasta is perfectly done. Love it!

My brother, grandmother, and I had a fabulous experience at Via Rosa 11. After a day of cavorting around Bainbridge Island, we decided to try this spot out. It’s a lovely little shop and restaurant combo that serves some very flavorful fare.

The capricciosa pizza was delightful. The crust was crisp and held its shape, the sauce was simple with full flavor, and the toppings were fresh. The lasagna bolognese was thick and the meat tender and juicy. The burrata pomodoro was a great mixture of fresh cheese and tangy veggies.

The staff here are commendable. They are very inviting and warm people who obviously have a passion for what they’re doing. I highly recommend this spot for lunch or dinner while on Bainbridge. Lovely experience all around!

Such an incredible place - by far the best place to go on Bainbridge for food. The service was quick and the food was well priced. We had the seafood pasta, gnocchi, truffle pizza, and spaghetti amatriciana and it was more than enough food. We came on a sunny day, but I like that their patio area is covered in case it rained. Definitely recommend the seafood pasta and truffle pizza.

Via Rosa's food always hits the spot! Lunch, dinner, grab-and-go. All full of flavor. Great place to dine-in and catch up on some chisme with the girlfriends.

Hands down the best Pizza in the US. The Margarita Pizza tasted absolutely delicious with simple fresh ingredients. The tiramisu was heavenly and easily the best I've ever had. I'll always need to stop here when I go to the Olympic side from Seattle. I highly recommend this restaurant. The staff is super friendly and shows genuine interest in making sure I like the food.

Oh I love everything here. People were nice. Foods were so good. Atmosphere was perfect. You won't regret visiting here. Worth taking the ferry haha.

This was one of our favorite places on Bainbridge! Incredible food, incredible service. The chicken panino, potato/green bean pizza, salads - all delicious! We bought a frozen lasagna for our last night on the island. Adorable little covered outdoor patio lined with hanging plants. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Amazing fresh pizza. The mushrooms were delicious I wish I could have it everyday. The restaurant felt very authentic Italian food in a small shopping plaza away from downtown Bainbridge. It’s a must to have lunch or dinner here.

An absolute hidden Italian gem in a quite part of Bainbridge. The place is like a modern Italian bistro but yet manages to be authentic. Food is delicious, fresh, and like what you would find in Europe. Good selection of beer and wine. Very friendly staff and owner.

I've been a big fan of Via Rosa for a long time. The food, employees, and atmosphere are fantastic. I highly recommend a pizza and tiramisu for dessert! Enjoy!

Best Italian food that I’ve had in the PNW by far! The chef came out to meet us while we were ordering and helped us pick out vegetarian dishes. His recommendations were incredible! We were too hungry to click photos before eating but everything was great. Would definitely be back! Gnocchi was super soft. Loved the burrata salad. Ravioli in butter parmesan sauce was amazing as well!

Great little spot well off the beaten path, and therefore not inundated with the usual busy island traffic. I've had wine and pizza here on one occasion, and sandwiches on the second visit. Delicious on all accounts! Dying to try the Tiramisu someday.

Such a beautiful and special place! The restaurant servers and greeters are incredibly nice and helpful. Places like this are really rare these days!

Always delicious! Haven’t had anything on the menu we haven’t liked yet, either pasta or pizza. And the service is great!

I still haven't had a chance to dine-in here but every time I come to Bainbridge, I always swing by and grab some to-go pastas here. They have a variety of sauces and pasta shapes so you can mix and match to create awesome pasta dishes at home. The stand out for me was their Puttanesca sauce which was the perfect spice level and had whole kalamata olives in it. I also loved their house made sausage with calabrian chilies. I've never had a sausage like that and will happily go back again for it.

Hidden gem! My wife and I were on Bainbridge Island for our five year wedding anniversary. We saw on google maps that this place was open for lunch and decided to try it out. We weren’t disappointed.

First, it’s a little off the beaten path in a cool little downtown area. The restaurant and market has a counter that you order from and they bring out your food. My wife’s pizza was fantastic with a great chewy crust and flavorful toppings. I also loved my gnocchi with super tender dumplings.

My only regrets is we didn’t have more time!

Lovely family place.. We had been to Bainbridge once before but never knew this particular restaurant. Since we don’t eat meat and egg we needed help in ordering food. The lady was amazing. She was the Chef’s wife(sorry I am missing the name) and she helped us in ordering the pizza and Bruschetta. We thought that we are ordering more and will eat later but honestly the taste was incredible and we couldn’t stop eating. We missed taking pics of the food at the start. They had indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating were well managed with heaters as it gets really cold there. She helped my lil one with colors and painting sheet which kept her busy and we could enjoy the dinner.
We met another couple from the place and we had a good chat with them about States and shared pleasantries.
Overall impression- Happy place with great food. Must try.

Argh… the best ambience, best food, best drink and the best owner. What a lovely place to eat authentic authentic Italian at Bainbridge island. I would recommend high of this. Thank you owners for the lovely gesture of serving us the dessert.

Had the clam dish, didn’t realize it didn’t come with noodles since it was takeout. I called and asked about it, the lovely lady on the other line was kind enough to cook me up some noodles! This was near closing as well. WONDERFUL service.

Awesome pasta! We built our own (linguini with mushrooms) and roasted vegetables and shared both. Generous plates and delicious pasta! Plenty of outdoor (covered) seating. They also have a lot of dishes (bake at home) and sauces for sale. Highly recommended!
