Tamekia did an incredible job with my massage. She asked about any issues I was having and tailored my massage to target those problem areas. She was extremely communicative throughout the entire process and listened to my feedback to ensure that I was comfortable. She gave me clear instructions for aftercare and made sure that I was feeling great when I left. Gillian at the front desk was also wonderful. She helped me with purchasing a gift card and setting up my membership. Every visit to Massage Envy in Tuscaloosa has been great and I cannot recommend their services and staff enough!

Jim is hands down the best massage therapist I’ve ever been to. He can feel the area and know what needs work. I’ve always felt very comfortable with him. He is a true professional that knows his trade. He puts just enough pressure but is also gentle. I’m so glad I found him. -Amber

Very relaxing and very professional. My therapist was great! I'm going through chemo and have had a double mastectomy and port placement. She was very attentive and sought ways to make me more comfortable. I will be going back! Thanks Tamekia.

I may be a little biased because I’ve only had one masseuse since starting my membership. I have yet to be disappointed. I love how even when I have had a bad case of reflux, Jim was accommodating. This is my one form of self care that I will not go back on. If you haven’t been, please go. The entire experience from check in to waiting in the tranquility room will exceed your expectations.

As someone going through cancer treatment, James was incredible at personalizing the massage to avoid surgery areas and medical devices. I was so nervous that my port IV would accidentally get hit (which causes me so much pain), but I had zero issues and was able to relax pain-free the entire time! Due to the nature of my treatment, my muscles cramp frequently and James did a great job at working on getting the knots out. 10/10 recommend!

One bad employee can ruin the reputation of such a wonderful business. I was about to cancel my membership because the lady was so rude. I gave it another shot and Ansley worked on me for last 2 times and she is very professional and polite. Amazing experience. Whole staff is nice but one, she needs to go.

Very bad neck and back issues. James really used firm pressure , found my major pain spots and alleviated or broke up my knots and pain . Honestly the best massage I have gotten . Very knowledgeable about his craft . Very happy about massage , even though I’m about 2 hours away I’ll be making appointments to come back .

I love this place. I was able to sit in a chair when I walked in and breath in relaxing fumes. The receptionist is friendly and told me about a membership they have. The way the membership works is this: You pay sixty five dollars a month and all massages are cheaper than what a non member pays every month. Tameka was the therapist who massaged me for an hour and she did a great job. She adjusts how she massages you if you request it. She used a hot wet towel to help me relax. The music playing was very soothing to listen to. She gave great advice for me to use hot water and Epsom salt to relax. I want to come here again in a few months.

I had a hip pointer that never went away for 6-9 months and after Ansley? Worked on my troubled spot, it’s GONE! Thank you. After my second massage Svc with Ansley, she is the best ever.

Massage Envy has been my go to place for a while now. Tamekia is great. Super professional and great at her job and what she does! I know I will get good service and care every time I get a massage with Tamekia. 🙂

Helene is great. You can tell she really knows what she’s doing and tailors the massage to specific needs. Not just a cookie cutter experience. I live with severe back and hip pain and she has helped to significantly lessen the pain I experience on a daily basis.

James is an AWESOME therapist! He is great at treating chronic back pain. I highly recommend him and this Massage Envy location (Tuscaloosa).

My first massage with Jim. He was very thorough and knew exactly what was going on in all the problem areas. I would say one of the best massages I’ve had and I’ve been getting massages routinely since 1995.

I went here for muscular pain as well as tension in my legs, feet and back due to my job. Wesley was the massage therapist who worked on me. He was professional, knowledge and provided great aftercare tips specifically for the type of work I do and to aid my muscles in recovering well! I will definitely be a repeat customer!
