TVA Rockpile Recreation Area

Went there with a group of friends after dinner. The walk-in was pretty extensive but well worth it after getting there. Enjoyed the falls, the view of the dam, the river, and the coolness of the evening. It was a great experience and I would recommend it for anyone wanting to just relax and enjoy life. As an aside as we approached we notice a couple there already. And as we watched he got down on one knee and proposed to the lady. It was a very loving moment.

This was a good pit stop on a road trip. We stopped here to stretch, see the waterfall, have a picnic , and for the kids to play on the playground.

Beautiful, quiet, relaxing place to visit. Playground, waterfall and fishing area. Various trails to hike on, very scenic area.

This place is a nice place to take the kids to play on the playground equipment. It is rarely very crowded plus the views of Wilson Dam and the river are awesome.

The memorial at the waterfall is a poignant, tragic reminder of how dangerous the river can be. I pray for continuous healing for that poor child's family.

Overall I recommend this place to anyone. It is well worth checking out.

Beautiful nature, great trails. Very peaceful. The whole family had fun!

Primitive trail has so many stairs that I’m not sure bikers would be able to bike it. Beautiful woods adjacent to the Tennessee River. I saw a few fishing.

Fishing, picnic,playground, hiking trails restrooms, waterfall and very pretty

Great area to picnic, grill, and have a family gathering. All facilities are well kept and clean. Once again TVA takes great care of the entire area. Walking trails and kids area it's something for everyone. Highly recommend this to everyone.

Posted a review months back as the Rockpile Day use park. Still a great place with walking trails, play ground, picnic tables, restrooms and plenty of parking. It's a short walk to a waterfall and cave area in the side of a cliff. A boat ramp and parking also nearby with areas for fishing.

We love going down here and letting the kids play. We enjoy watching the boats and the fish and just relaxing while the kids enjoy the awesome new play ground.

You can make ao many memories their and now ever since I went i want to go everyday (Happy birthday shelbz!!!!)

There is a path along the river almost to the dam, seating, and a playground which is currently closed. A hiking trail can be accessed from this area also.

I spend a lot of time here fishing and I love the area and I get to meet anglers like my self .

One of a kind place. The views of the historic Wilson Dam are amazing.
