Great customer service run by people who care about their customers. You can get whatever you need at a competitive price. Try their pick-up services as well. Store is always well stocked and features a clean and fresh produce department, stocked grocery department with wide shoppable aisles, a great bakery department and top of the line fresh meat department. Home and apparel are fantastic as well. Don't waste your time shopping at Safeway. Shop Freddie's, you'll get everything you need plus some. Also the front end manager is a nice guy. He wears nice shoes and usually smells good. He offered me a free hello fresh box and even suggested some of his favorite meals. If you are ever in the store ask for Brandon. Give him a high five for me and ask him about hello fresh!

Probably the best place to buy groceries in Federal Way / Des Moines area besides Costco. Much much better than Safeway. Clean, best value (price to quality), very good store for food. Lots of higher quality options for breads, bakery, organic groceries, fish, etc.

Went there for some face masks and a couple of other things but their employees don't seem to know where items are.

If someone comes asking for face masks you can direct them to the Isle where the bandages and wraps are (sports related stuff).

I won't lower the star rating but they should know better.

The day I came to Fred Meyer was the day after my travel companion and flew in at 1am and rested in Denny's for a few hours. At first, fully and completely sleep deprived and starved, we assumed Fred Meyer was a tractor store - a good looking name and megalith building, what else but tractors? Forgetting of course all the acreage of plains Washington held. As we walked by the store for a second time, before a journey that we did not foresee that would take us stumbling through a dense unmarked woods and up a literal forest cliff for over half a mile in attempt to reach a public coast line after walking the wrong way for 2 miles and wanting only a long stretch of beach to rest our weary bones, before arriving at a beach that was 10ft' by 35ft'', we recognized a familiar mermaid. Tractor stores don't typically have Starbucks, and, our assumptions were correct. Fred Meyer was not a tractor store. It was anything but that. When I tell you our eyes glittered. The most gorgeous vaulted ceiling known to man. It was an indescribable mix of Costco, Albertsons, and something magical. So magical. Fred Meyer packed everything. Wandering down the isles was comparable to ToysRUs and $20. For a second we forget the crushing debt that we would hold in 4+ years and how our dinning hall had unlivable choices for a picky disgruntled eater and an allergic college student and how one of us didn't love or understand biology and the other was double majoring in chemistry and physics or even how we had no money left after paying $230 for two nights at a room that was supposed to be $180 dollars and was down the hall from a room with a bullet hole in its window and had one bed, unclean floors, and the creepiest vibes imaginable. Fred Meyer momentary corrected all the failings society had crushed on our shoulders the moment we turned 18. Fred Meyer was stocked with something we now call hope and love. We went back later that night after falling in love with our tiny beach and it's sunset and walking uphill on a 45 mile an hour stretch of road with no sidewalk in the dark, and got a big old bag of gluten free chicken nuggets which actually totaled out to be 13 chicken nuggets each with a 14 servings bottle of barbecue sauce that will have to be chugged by tomorrow at 11am. Fred Meyer saved our faith in Washington and made us believe that it would be okay to raw dog another trip 6 days in advance after getting the thought logged in our heads the night before and deciding to go into as blindly as humanly possible after paying $120 for a flight on what little savings one of us had from nannying kids all summer. It was worth missing Friday classes that we paid thousands up on thousands of dollars for and it was worth that last second test that teacher who one of us to take a separate bus to, assigning a last second test. Thank you Fred Meyer, thank you. They have apple cider, go get some <3

Great pick up staff at this location, helpful and they're actually pretty good with substitutes!

I don't go in much as it suffers from being understaffed like every other grocery, so I don't go in to shop cause I value my time! So pick up takes pre-planning on my part, but they always fulfill and rain or shine load me up wonderfully!

Awesome security officer Jerry Cortez at this Pacific Hwy Fred Meyer, (and his coworker, Alex, who has been transferred to Tacoma now). Always attentive and goes above and beyond being respectful. Jerry and Alex both remember customer names!! Who takes the time to remember you name at the grocery store?? As a small female, I feel both safe and welcome every time when going in there. Thank you guys!!

Wonderfully put together store. Clean,organized and very nice employees. Especially Joe and Bonnie, both exceeded my expectations for customer service. I still wish there was more cashier check outs than self serve ones.

Lots of savings, if you plan to purchase the quantities buying 3 to 5 or more. This is a great way to stock up or share. Clean and frendly.

Great place for meat and vegi products. Always come here to restock, fresh and great price when you use their weekly ads and member card(free).

Clean, well lit store. Gas station is nice as well.

Someone in their bakery knows how to bake delicious cake. I just purchased a store-made Tuxedo Cake and wasn't expecting much. It's absolutely delicious and rivals expensive cake shops!

Never had any problems managers in the electronics department are nice and has a great selection. Everyone wears their masks and there are extras offered if you need one. Their sushi is really good.

Love coming here for the sushi and fresh fruit.

Patty was the best of help, she went above and beyond with everything. She's the best store employee I've ever had the pleasure of being helped by in quite some time. Management, if you see this review, please consider a upgrade to position if not a raise at least.

Curbside pickup was fast and easy. Customer service rep that came to car was pleasant and helpful. When I got home most items were bagged with like products. The only thing I wasn't happy with was they put a small bag of potatoes on top of the cilantro, that's a no no☹. Otherwise will use the service again.

Anton at the Wine counter was super nice. The potato soup turned out amazing if he sees this :)

Thank you for making me proud of my company today! My 81 year old mother who is 5 months out from hip surgery needed help. She realized upon checking her receipt that she had not been charged for her puzzle book. She returned to store and paid but upon returning to her car she realized her keys were locked inside. I work here however what i say does not in any way reflect the company nor am I paid to say this. Now that that is said. I love this place :) love this company. People are awesome and i love shopping here. Always fun friendly and welcoming. My son loves going as well as my entire family :) always a great experience.

I’m always more than pleased with the customer service at this location. Everyone is so polite and courteous! I’ve been going there a while now and it’s looking great with the remodel. I’m so thankful for the delivery service as well because if I’m sick I don’t have to get out of bed lol. Honestly I’ve never had a bad experience and all the employees seem happy and friendly I’m thankful to shop here.
