Alpha Charlie Grill

The customer service was awesome and the server was very friendly. We got the recommendations of The Tarmac and The Maverick. We were not disappointed. Burgers were juicy, flavorful and filling. The fries were also very good. Overall, this place was a 9/10 and I would recommend it to anybody.

Amazing food. Incredible and friendly service. Chef came out and talked with all of us. Had the special. It was the “shug” burger. Absolutely delicious. These guys care about their food. Fries are amazing. All the kids got chicken fingers and fries. Mac and cheese was a huge bonus. Really a great place for lunch. Great view of the airport to watch planes take off and land. Can’t wait to go back.

Great spot overlooking Birmingham Airport. Everything on the menu and inside the restaurant is aviation themed. Food prices were average but the food was great. Indoor and outdoor seating. The parking area is small but I haven't had any trouble finding parking! Recommend trying this spot at least once during the day to eat and watch aircraft depart and land at Birmingham.

I came for breakfast after it had been recommended to me. I ordered the Bird Abatement Omelet (awesome name). The pepper and onions and fresh grilled veggies were amazing! I got mine with chicken and pepper Jack cheese. It was the best omelet I have ever had in my life.! That is not an exaggeration. I talked to the chef and he just loves making omelets and it definitely shows through his work!

The waffles are like a cinnamon roll and a waffle mixed together. Super delicious!

The atmosphere is really fun and inviting. Lots of airplane and industrial themed decor. You can play corn hole (bean bag game) outside while you watch planes take off and land at the airport.

Everything was cool. Only bad thing is there were a bunch of plates laying around from previous customers that hadn’t been cleaned up. Food was great even though the grill wasn’t on so no burger options were available.

Their steak and egg croissant sandwich was very delicious. Croissants was fresh and buttery and steak was well seasoned and tender. Will definitely be trying other items on their menu. Prices was very reasonable.

I really liked the warthog burger. Fries were really good... uniquely flat, maybe my new favorite. Love airport views. I was in town for work, fixing an airplane ironically, and this was a great choice for me and my fellow aviation geeks/employees.

Chicken sandwich was very good. Server Pieper was great! Nice experience!

Unique place to eat as you get to watch the planes take off and land. I order takeout and delivery quite often from them now. Everything I've had on the menu taste great.

Our kids love airplanes so we came for lunch and to watch the planes take off the runway. This place is awesome. Very clean with awesome aviation themed design elements. We ate out on the covered patio for the best view of the runways. Food and service were great too. Awesome burgers. Will definitely be back

If I could give this place 16 stars, I absolutely would. My coworkers and I came by today for our monthly luncheon to have some laughs and throw back some burgers. I'd passed by here on the way to a client's house probably two years ago and always swore I'd stop in but never did. Well, it was two years' too long a wait.

The fries were seasoned well and weren't too dry or too greasy. The burgers literally looked as piled high as the pics and were equally as delicious (I got one with mac and cheese on top). The place was immaculately clean for a diner-type restaurant. The view of the aircraft taking off was awesome and I imagine sitting outside in the Fall would be a treat when the weather permits. There's a military discount, which was a nice bonus as well.

The staff was incredibly nice (and nice to look at...sorry, young Army guy, for the ogles at your expense). The slices of cake are YUUUUUGE, btw. They're a meal in, and of, themselves. Will definitely be back and have a scrumptious meal when I've lost the extra 7 lbs from this one! 😋

Wow! Just happened to be in the neighborhood and thought I would try something new and couldn’t be more pleased. Everything on the menu is done right. I’m already planning my next visit 😄

We enjoyed going out to the picnic tables and watching the planes taking off and some landing.

This place was great. I had the chicken sandwich and it was one of the best I have had. The fries are great too. The best part is sitting on the porch and watching the planes land and takeoff right across the street.

Great food and friendly staff. Gets pretty busy at lunch but there is a good reason for that.

Awesome menu. Also they have fresh pork skins with different seasoning. The wings are delicious and the burgers are great as well!
