Lombard Park District

We love the park district and have been taking classes here for years. My son has done everything from fencing to ukelele to STEM to pottery. I'm also a big fan of the adult pottery programs. Everyone we have ever had contact with has been kind and helpful. I'm not sure what the deal is with the one star ratings but we are grateful to live in a town with such vibrant parks district programming. I can't wait to sign up for Fall activities.

We have 4 children that have enjoyed everything the Lombard Park District has to offer. Facilities are clean, parks are pristine. We love Lombard Park District!

Our kids have enjoyed each of the classes they've taken and we have found the park district easy to communicate with when we have questions. We are loving our pass to Paradise Bay and our walks to Madison Meadow.

I love how clean & beautiful all the parks are in Lombard. Makes me proud to say "I live in Lombard!"

We love Kiddie Campus and have had great success with the soccer programs! We’ve had amazing experiences with the classes we have gone to over the past four years with 1 or 2 being less than what we hoped/expected and one being cancelled due to minimum not being met. Support the Park District and so classes will continue to be run!!

We love all the programs and preschool... It really enriches a child's development... Great job... Keep the programs interesting...

Really disappointed. The Madison Meadows location was chosen by us because we were promised there would be electricity provided. I ordered a moon bounce (provided supported documentation to the park district) and due to the electricity not working, i had to order extra generators and find ways to keep the power running for music and other entertainment we had for the guests.

We called the Lombard park district to let them know the power wasn't working and were told maintenance will come take a look at it - they never showed up. After the party, when we called the PD, they told us there was some 'switch' that had to be pressed to reset the outlet. Why weren't we told this when we called to complain initially? Also, why didn't the maintenance guy show up to take care of it?

Instead of taking responsibility, the manager tried pinning it on the host of the party and saying its our fault for not pressing a switch we never knew existed. Bad experience.

Wednesday night adult softball league has been cancelled due to “rain” multiple times this year. I put rain in quotes because it could have rained a week ago and games would get shut down. Our team was on the brink of greatness and we had it ripped out of our hands because the park district is ran by little babies.

Not surprised they have a poor rating. If your child is anything but quiet and obedient, they will ask you to remove them from whatever course you registered them for. This is not a child-friendly place.

They don't care about the people of Lombard or the people that pay for their programs. If they have the ability to cancel a program and go home early then they will. Also, don't plan on getting any answers when you call especially from Martha or Jake cause they could care less.

It's an awful place. My daughter got hit by a kid in her tennis class. That girl lost the tennis match, got angry and out of frustration hit the tennis ball on my daughter's face. I called the office, spoke with the manager and director, to take some action against it. Apparently they don't take any action against this type of bullying.

they cancel classes without letting the parents know. 10/10 do not recommend
