Okaw Valley Kampground

The campground is beautiful , and management extremely attentive. These owners truly care about their business and property and it shows. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Laura and Karey Sadler.

Barb the owner was absolutely lovely. The campsite was close to the highway, but down and far enough away to make us tune out the traffic. Dog had fun, lots of room to play, great space and also very clean bathrooms. Our only suggestion would be to change the area light to something less bright. It was like having the sun in your eyes all night. We had to close up half the roof tent to sleep. I get it’s for safety, but the location of the light was just not fantastic. Other than that it was absolutely perfect! Slept great! Thanks so much. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re traveling out West!

Traveling thru and had made reservations for RV. Plenty of room for pull thru. Nice lots, water with pedal boats, store, Awesome customer service. A definite stop for relaxing or one night!

Stayed one night here and was very impressed with the super friendly service. Very easy to book, and simple late night check in. The facilities are older but very clean and well kept, beautiful new laundry machines too. Highly recommend 👍🏻

We enjoyed our stay at Okaw Valley Kampground. Barb and the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful, and the facilities were clean and well-maintained. Awesome playground and camp store, fresh coffee and pizza available. We would definitely stay here again!

We took a family weekend trip here with 6 adults and 7 kids. Barb was super friendly and helpful. The sites were well maintained, restrooms and showers were very clean. The kids LOVED the pool. We will definitely be back!!

Cyclist / bicycle friendly camp. Excellent grounds with super clean bathrooms, showers, laundry and space. The staff are supportive and friendly and they take great care of the place. I highly recommend Okaw Valley!

This is a hidden gem. Nice level spots, clean facilities, pool, playground, and a real nice pond. The owners are wonderful. Enjoy this spot for more than an overnight because it's that comfortable.

Barb was super friendly and helpful. Gave us a ride in the golf cart to look at 2 spots we could park overnight and suggested the one closest to the office and bathrooms after she learned I have arthritis. Bathrooms and showers were clean and warm.

What a pleasant stay we had!  We only stayed one night but would have loved to have stayed at least one more night.  There is a lake to walk around and the grounds are impeccable. It is right off interstate 70 but we found it quiet and relaxing.  Maybe it's the fact that there are so many birds singing and frogs croaking in the lake that you forget all about I-70 and only hear the sounds of nature.  Speaking of birds, they have Baltimore Oriole birds there.  We live near Baltimore and I have never seen one before.  When I told Barb, the owner, she made sure we got to see one. She puts grape jelly out in feeders and we stopped by around 5:30pm and got several pictures of what I think is the male. Barb certainly went out of her way to make our stay extra-special. It was a wonderful evening. If we find ourselves in the area again, we'll be sure to stay and for more than one night.

Easy check in. The owner is very friendly and accommodating.
Our pull thru was nice and long. Only stayed one night, but would definitely return here. A gem right off the freeway. Traffic noise was minimal.

Barb, the owner, was so kind and even waited for us because she was closing the office and we were stuck in traffic. Our site was spacious and grassy, we upgraded to a site with electric because it was humid and muggy so we could use our portable fan. Location is convenient right off the highway, but a treeline keep the noise to a minimum, so that was really great! Super grateful for showers, clean & well lit restrooms and a well kept campground. We didn't get to use the pool, but it was being cleaned first thing in the morning and people were jumping in as soon as they opened it. Great stay and friendly staff, thanks for great one night tent stay!

Such a great little place to stay! Right off the highway but not a problem. Perfect pond to catch and release fish. Owners are very helpful! Even filled up our propane tank and delivered it to us right away! If we were not just passing through, we would have stayed longer! Thanks Barb and Gary for being so accommodating with our stay dates!

A convenient spot just off the hwy but offset enough that traffic noise wasn't bothersome. Nice big pull through spots in a section that is easily accessed for overnight stays.

A beautiful setting with the lake and pathway around it. Park is exceptionally clean and in the summer I can imagine the pool is a great spot to cool off. Services worked as they should and hookups were all convenient to the pull through spot we stayed in.

Owners are by far the most pleasant people you will meet. The work they have done on this park in the last six years of ownership are remarkable. Their efforts to revitalize this RV park are deserving of a medal.

As snowbirds who make an annual migration south each year, this will be added to our scheduled stopover to and from.

We called for a reservation on our way to the campground and she saved us a spot!! Super nice owners! It was a very nice place to camp for the night in the camper! Super quiet and relaxing! They have showers and bathrooms on site, very useful since we did not do a full hookup! Dog friendly🐕 There is a town close by for food, gas, supplies..ect! We had a great stay!! 😊

Love this place! We rented the cabin and it was wonderful, with 4 beds. It felt very secluded and quiet. Barb and Gary were very friendly and answered no less than a dozen of my calls and texts messages. I feel like I’m part of the family now 😆 They were very accommodating and patient. Can’t wait to come back soon!

Going on our third year with a seasonal spot here and this place is still a great place to camp. Whether its overnight, for the weekend, or a seasonal spot. Its very pretty here and cozy. Every camper we have encountered has been super friendly. The bathrooms/ shower house is always clean and well lit. The main office is within walking distance of any camping spot and the owners are always around and willing to help. You really couldn't ask for better owners, they helped us out getting our camper to our seasonal spot and Gary backed it in for us. They also have plenty of overnight spots for people traveling through who need a spot to park and rest for the night. Gary and Barb, the owners, are very attentive to the campgrounds. You can see them all throughout the day driving around and checking on things to make sure everything is good and everyone os doing ok. They are very attentive owners and keep their eyes on things so we always feel safe and comfortable out here with our children.

Very friendly management. Quiet, clean with a great lake, geese and other animal sounds to sooth yourself after a long day on the road. We booked the same spot on our return trip from the Grand Canyon.
Campground is right off the highway.
