Howie's on Main

Food was amazing! There was such great care to every meal. It was a little slow to to table but very timely for a dine In. If you come do not expect fast food. Food was fresh, hand made, and cooked to perfection. I will be coming back at any available time I am in town.

Went as part of a big crown and we had the basement reserved for us. The food was delicious. Unfortunately some of the staff did not show up leaving them short staffed, and the owners worked very hard to make sure we were served and taken care of. Under the circumstances, I think they did a great job.

Quiet place but great. Kinda off the beaten path but food was excellent especially for the price. Bartender was attentive and super nice. Bonus was Thursday night football.
Not sure i will come through this way again but highly reccomend.

The chicken bacon ranch was very good. The chicken was marinated, so it stood out on its own. Mac n cheese was scratch made and my daughter loved it. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable as well

I am so picky about my steaks that even if I cook it myself it's not perfect. So, tonight I was served a beautiful, perfectly medium rare, thick prime rib that almost melted in my my mouth. Perfect garlic, perfect temperature, with broccoli and cauliflower to compliment! And the chef even checked beforehand to make sure he and I were on the same page. Fantastic service. I'll be back!

This place was great! Food n service were worth the stop! Definitely be a fun place during football season with their big screen for the game. Go check it out!

Everytime I've eaten here it's always above and beyond. Service staff is punctual AND precise. Cooking staff take pride in their work, and rightfully so. I haven't eaten anything there that hasn't surpassed expectations. If you're looking for a local, new expirience, you owe it to yourself to check these guys out.

On our way home from St Louis, stopped at Howie’s on Main. Saw it on google.maps, glad we did! Food was excellent, service was great, beer was cold and we will defiantly be back. Worth checking out! The Gibson’s will be back. As far as previous reviews, service was quick!

The food and service were both great. We had the BBQ Pork Nachos, Fried Green Tomatoes, Onion Petals, Coleslaw, Garlic Buttery French Fries, and the Grilled Blackened Grouper Sandwich. The Grouper was good but everything else was outstanding!!! We will be back soon!

The mushroom & swiss burger was AMAZING. Excellent onion petals, delicious fried mushrooms, and the french fry I sampled from my husbands plate was ridiculously good. Excellent service and big portions. We will definitely be back!❤

Good food great staff. We have been there twice for lunch on Sunday with family. We arrive at opening and had seating for 12 people or more. Very accommodating and fast service for this many people. The food tastes great and no complaints.

We frequent this establishment a minimum of twice a week. We obviously love it there....from the atmosphere to the excellent food to the service. What prompted me to post todays review is I had the Filet last night, which was recently added to the menu, and it's one of the best I've ever had. And my wife is still raving over the Chicken Fried Steak. Check this place out....you will not be dissapointed! Btw...our waitress, Paula Mae rocks!

The food at Howie's is always great. I really enjoy their fish and homemade chips. I just wish they had bands more often. Really enjoyed one I saw a few years back, Van Waylon Band. Great bunch of guys.

Great service! Their beer cheese sauce is to die for! Definitely try the horseshoe, nothing better to satisfy your hunger and try something new!

I'm from out of town. I met up with some friends here. Howie's was a pleasant surprise. They had a good selection of food and drinks, good atmosphere, and pleasant and efficient wait staff. I will definitely return when I'm back in the area.

Had a Loaded Horseshoe and it was delicious. Bartender was great too!

Amazing food and the staff is great. They are very friendly. They also provide fast service. The fried pickles are my favorite starter on their menu.

I love love love Howies. They always have amazing food, great service, clean and friendly environment. Their drinks are good priced and always strong. We go as much as we can.

Good food, great appetizers, and excellent service. We ran the waitress ragged and she still took care of us with a smile!
