Meadowview Golf Course

Phenomenal course, especially compared to around the area and great people working. But the schedule for being open is kinda silly. It was low 30s yesterday and cloudy and you guys were still open. Today is sunny and 40s+ and you guys are apparently closed for the weather? Kinda sucks since I just bought my pass this season and sullivan being closed temporarily and now you guys are closed on a nice sunny Sunday. Kinda makes me wonder if the season pass will even be worth it till after March.

This is a fantastic 18 hole course. When people were telling me Mattoon had a course, I honestly thought it was just going to be a typical small town 9 hole course. I was so wrong. It's beautiful! Course is very well kept! Ball washers and garbage cans are at every hole, or nearly every hole, so it's easy to help keep the course and your cart clean. It's also priced extremely reasonable.
My 10 year old son is just starting to get into golf and the guys in the pro-shop made him feel so welcome! They really get you excited about playing. This will definitely be our go-to spot.
I'm going to have my irons re-gripped there and look into getting used/new fairway woods from them. Also going to look into if they offer lessons for kids.

Golfed here on Saturday with my brother, course is fun and challenging. greens were very well kept, fairways were in good condition as well. My only complaint would be that the sand traps could be maintained better, most were hard matted down sand. We didn't tee off until 10:30 so I would think the ground crew would have had a chance to get out and work the traps. They have a nice practice area for before your round. All in all I definitely recommend.

Great, Courteous and All Hard Working Individuals. My Wife and I have enjoyed playing at this course as is it reasonably priced for a 9 hole or 18 hole with cart. The Price for 2 people for a 9 hole with cart is $52.If you reserve online during the week the prices vary but it usually comes out to $48. The price of a large bucket of balls is $8 and a small $5. The bucket is filled to the brim, so it is definitely reasonable. I thought we'd spend a fortune here but we were able to eat for 2 with drinks, chips, snack, 2 people with 9 hole and cart under $100. I was even able to regrip my driver here for $12.99. How awesome is that. Will definitely keep coming back.

Couldn't ask for a better place to play. Reasonable rates (especially if you are a member). Kind and cheerful staff. Course is always in great condition.

Beautiful course, very well maintained. Rolling terrain with trees and lovely natural prairie areas along the way. (Play here and support bees who feed off the milkweed!) Long enough for big hitters, yet friendly enough for all. Not super challenging, but interesting enough layout, so it's a very pleasant outing for golfers. Pace of play: 3 hrs 45 min for 18 holes. I will definitely be back.

I had another great experience out at Meadowview Golf Course today. I have been a member there for several years now. The owners and staff are always very accommodating and friendly. In my opinion, it is one of the most well maintained courses in the Coles County area. I always have a great experience at Meadowview!

One of the best public golf courses around, greens and fairways always in immaculate condition. Management and staff treat you like family. Would definitely recommend this place to all golfers, you won't be disappointed.

Played this course yesterday and it is in great shape. The people in the clubhouse and restaurant we're very friendly. I want to give a huge thank you to and I hope this name is right jordan who works in the clubhouse. I am diabetic and my blood sugar was crashing, Jordan brought me a Coke out on the course to save the day. Overall great experience. We will definitely play again. Keep up the good work.

Me and my wife try and play 1 once a month here. Great course, reasonably priced, nice selection of food at the turn, and a full club house if you need anything. Everyone is super friendly. Keep it up meadowview!

Really enjoyed playing here. We drove up from Carbondale to try something new. Heard nice things about it from some friends who have also played here. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Course was challenging and enjoyed a very nice lunch afterwards! Will definitely come back. Thank you!

Meadowview Golf Course is the best course around!! The staff members are always very pleasant and helpful. The course itself is always in great shape. They even have a café where you can order delicious sandwiches and take a cooler of drinks with you out on the course. The management is very knowledgeable and are always thinking of ways to improve the happiness of their customers.

Meadowview also has a driving range. They are able to host outdoor or indoor weddings and receptions, birthday parties, or any other events! What a beautiful setting!

This is truly the nicest course in Mattoon and is definitely a must visit!

Jordan Boldig (GM) did a great job fitting me for clubs. He was very patient with me (due to a bad back and haven't played for years) and supplied a lot of options, ideas, and tips. A great experience!
