Maggiano's Little Italy

Review is based on a banquet event (not regular dine in service).

What an experience! It was a 3 course meal in which the servers would bring big plates of food to your table. Then at your table, you would pass around the food.

I really liked all appetizers - stuffed mushrooms, calamari and Italian tossed salad. I would have been content with those alone!

Then to the second course: the Parmesan-crusted cod and mushroom ravioli was absolutely delicious!! I would order those in a heartbeat if I were to visit here again. It was the best cod that I have ever had! Our table loved the fish so much that we asked the servers for seconds and thirds.

As for the desserts - I thought the tiramisu was under par. I’ve definitely had much better from other places. But the Gigi’s Butter Cake totally made up for it. This was amazingly good!

The servers here were also great. I know we had some people sitting at my table who were a little demanding & impatient - but these servers handled it very well.

Overall an amazing dining experience!

We were greeted immediately upon walking in. Vintage atmosphere, open space, nice vibe. Variety of food options available. We ordered the spinach dip, and chicken Parmesan. Both came out in a timely manner. The spinach dip was creamy and tasty. The chicken Parmesan was 2 big & breaded patties with Spaghetti. It was also very good. Billy was out server & he was terrific.

Went another time for a business dinner and had a wonderful time too. Food was fresh. Servers were polite. Area was clean.

I usually get take out here, but it's always great. The portions are right, the food is cooked well, and it's packaged well. They wrap things, put hot with hot, cold with cold, give you enough butter and bread. There's a separate entrance to keep things easy also, and they do curbside.

To update this review, I've ate in a few times on Sunday for lunch. I have to say, the servers are what you would expect at a high-class restaurant. They're a very nice and friendly and very attentive. The food is good, but I really like their Seafood. The portions for the kids meals are great. My son got a kids pizza but it looks like an entree for an adult.

This is one of my favorite restaurants and I thoroughly enjoy it.

so I gave it a four star because I am Italian and I cook Italian and it's hard to beat me.

but most people would say this is top-notch, so I'm a hard critic on that one .

They do have veal Parmesan as a special which is crazy because I was saying that I wish they had veal on the menu and there it wasn't a special which is rare .

I have eaten at this Maggiano’s location on several different occasions. The food and portion sizes are excellent. The service and wait staff at continuously great. If you come to this restaurant, come hungry and be prepared to take food home with you. This restaurant is great for groups, families and couples.

One of the first questions consistently at the location is, “Are there any allergies at the table?” Typically, it is followed up with a q and a session. This time, I had a chef come out to discuss my seafood allergy. He also wanted to know what I was going to eat that night so that it could be prepared and delivered with the rest of the meals at our table. It is nice to know that they take allergies seriously and I can avoid a shot in the thigh later that evening.

Some of the dishes at the table included a super crispy and flavorful egg plant Parmesan, super warm garlic bread served with a steamy hot marina sauce; rigatoni d, perfectly flavor balanced bruschetta, a Maggianos salad, and fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. There was also tiramisu but with hungry teens, there was no chance of getting a pic.

Joey the bartender made amazing espresso martinis! Great service and food was delicious! Food came out promptly and great ambiance!

This place is top notch. Was here for a funeral luncheon, in spite of a sad day the luncheon was a fresh breath of air. Everything was perfect. You can tell that the food is made fresh, all of it. Service was impeccable. There were other parties going on in other rooms like a baby shower and a wedding shower. Full service bar with great high-end choices. Try them for a special occasion.

Great food, a bit expensive but the portions don’t leave you hungry. That table bread is so delicious. I had the sirloin medallions with mashed potatoes. I would have liked a vegetable though. Delicious choice! Great staff! I was a bit disappointed by the birthday dessert of small lemon cookies for everyone to share. A dessert for the birthday person would have been better. Only a few cookies were eaten. This is a great place to celebrate or just for a great meal.

The food was great quality, sufficient portions, and had unique flavor. The service was excellent but took a little while as to be expected at this kind of restaurant. The ambiance was loud and busy, yet cozy with dim lighting and opulent leather booths.

Came with a group of 9 for dinner. Hubby and I had the beef tenderloin tips, and salmon with shrimp. Both were cooked well and really tasty. Busy and bustling atmosphere as usual for a Maggiano’s, but service was great. An enjoyable visit.

We just went to this location last night and Jim was our server, He was so good and excellent not only to us but the other tables he was serving as well. Kept our kids engaged, was funny and had excellent attitude. His service was top notch and we may go out of the way to come to this location in future:) Food was great too but his service was beyond exceptional!

Can I give more stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ this place is AMAZING!! FOOD was outstanding!! Atmosphere and decor very relaxing and inviting! I have been to numerous restaurants and this is now my top restaurant by far!! Visit this gem of a restaurant and I promise you won't be disappointed!! The prices are reasonable and the tomorrow pasta for $6 is amazing!! Had a great time!! I ordered a calamari to go and I guess I left it behind!! I could kick myself cuz it was the BEST I've ever had!!

It was my 1st-time visit with the family at Maggiano's after church. It was 11 of us. We made a reservation before we got there. We were seated and had two servers for our table. We ordered family style, and wow, how comprehensive the food was. Gio and Sam were fantastic and catered to even my 4yo nephew, a very picky eater. It was my sister's birthday, and they brought out a nice surprise for her. The atmosphere was good, and so was the company. I would visit again.

Great atmosphere and service for our large party of 22. Took the reservation same day.

They offered us family style dinner, bringing more than enough to stuff everyone and provide leftovers for the group.

All of the dishes we ordered were impeccable.

Great place for a small group to have dinner. Food was delicious all around and our Server Jim was excellent and made the night that much more enjoyable with his wit and humor. Only reason I gave 4 stars for atmosphere is it was a little loud for everyone to hear at the ends of the longer table we had

We celebrated our anniversary at Maggianos in Naperville & were pleasantly surprised at the beautifully remodeled decor. Stunning! Everything for our dinner was superb, well except for the bread. They changed the type of bread they bring you; now it’s some type of herbed wheat bread. We liked the other French bread better! Nevertheless, we enjoyed our meal. Hubby had Mom’s Lasagna & I had the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. We both had a chopped salad & completed our meal with the warm apple crostada with caramel sauce & vanilla ice cream! Sooo good we didn’t stop to take pics except for the salad! Our server, Adam, was new, but very attentive. Probably one of the best servers we’ve had here!

It was a perfect place for a New Year’s Eve dinner. We did not feel rushed. Our server was very attentive And not overworked with too many tables, the decor was absolutely perfect. All in all it was a perfect 10. They also accommodated my wife’s gluten-free allergy with modifying a chicken dish for her.

I always go for the murder mystery dinner. I been twice. Due to the pandemic I was not able to return again. I am still waiting on one in the future hopefully. When you arrive there are appetizers at the bar. We then enter the hall room. Really nice. You can never tell who the actors are. They blend so well. Many courses. Trust me you won’t leave hungry. Great food, entertainment and I do believe winners get a prize. I have yet to win but you never know.

A great place to celebrate any occasion. The place has great atmosphere, we had a rehearsal dinner going on and lots of people around us celebrating birthdays. I had the mussels and took my time to enjoy it. Loved the pomegranate martini as well.
