I needed to have a dress repaired (because a different alteration company ruined the fabric). The dress was a beautiful green satin, and I wasn't very hopeful that it would be repaired. Brian looked over it and said he would do the best he can, but couldn't make any promises since the dress even said to "spot clean only." He gave me a 2 day estimate to pick it up, which was perfect since the wedding I was wearing it for was less than a week away. When we came to pick it up, it was FLAWLESS. It looked BRAND NEW. I'm still amazed. Fast, efficient, and so kind. It's obvious they care about the customer. A phenomenal business. I'll definitely be returning.

They are awesome! He just saved me big time. The zipper broke on my grandson's signature hoddie the day before a big event. They were able to repair/clean it in a couple hours. Looks and works perfectly! Thank you!!!!!!

Being new to Chicago land area and most selective as to how and by whom my clothes are drycleaned I gave Hafer's a try after some unsuccessful attempts with others- with a single sweater. And I became a loyal client I understand why people travel a distance to have their dry cleaning done @ Hafer's it is,simply excellent, not too mention that its owner Ray always greets you with a welcoming smile with nothing being to much for him to provide you with service and perfectly cleaned, fresh smelling like new clothing.

They cleaned my king sized comforter and repaired a tear in it. Prices were very reasonable. It was ready on the day it was promised. Nice people here.

Lost my clothes 2x. First was a sweater ( Recovered 3 months later)they had offered to fix zipper then charged me $50 for it- Never gave me a price . A Month later lost 2 Armani shirts and workers started yelling at me like it was my fault and kept telling me to come back another day.

My boyfriend was in a pinch and needed his clothes for work dry cleaned but has been working 60-70 hour weeks, thought I’d be nice and drop his shirts off for him. I was recommended to this place by a male coworker of my own who said pricing is reasonable. I dropped off 6 shirts only and it’s nearly $4 per shirt?! That’s ridiculous! Spoke to the coworker and they don’t pay that.. kind of wondering if it’s because I am a woman I was charged more, silly notion but it’s definitely happened before. There is a place down the street that does them for less than $2 a shirt.. it doesn’t seem like a lot and doesn’t seem like something to be really angry over but it’s a ridiculous difference that definitely adds up over time.. would not recommend.

Some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced.

They advertize one hour service, with free pickup and delivery. It took them 4 days to clean a single pair of pants and vest. Then they refused to deliver on day 4. When I called on day 5, I was put on hold while he talked with the driver. But wouldn't send the driver the mile to my home with my clothing, because he had to be elsewhere in an hour. And it was a half-hour away...

They don't deserve the single star I'm forced to give them. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.
