Be prepared for it to be really busy on the weekend. Some of the best fried seafood around. You can't beat sitting out back at the picnic tables and getting a frozen drink.

I loved it! Total Beach vibe, seafood platters and a bar inside. Inside or outside dining with great ocean view and a very long pier for walking or fishing.

I don’t know how to say all the good things about Hoyt’s! I’ll sum it up to incredible customer service right from the door. I only had a beer and sampled the chowda. However, the beer was the perfect temperature and last but it least, THE BEST chowda north of MA!

If you are in Maine and want seafood then Huot's needs to be your destination. For starters you can throw a rock and hit the ocean from your seat at the table. Certainly you can't beat the location and you know the food is fresh. The fish is outstanding, on this trip I had the baked Haddock and it was superb. Well cooked with lots of butter and a delicious crust that enhanced without getting in the way. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meal. Only downside is they do stuff busy so we had a little wait, but it was definitely worth it. Highly recommend.

This is a laid back establishment serving typical seafood fare.l So we wanted to try different items on the menu but we both had specific food ideas. I got the lobster and some clam chowder and Diane Root Brewster had the scallops and a salad. The appetizers were very limited and did not give us optional seafood choices so we decided to order a kids meal that came with haddock and shrimp, using that for the appetizer and it worked out well. Everything we tried was good with both the Lobster and scallops cooked to perfection. The only thing was that Diane felt the scallops needed just a touch more seasoning and the chowder, while good, was a thin broth instead of the thick new england style I prefer.. The pricing was very reasonable and the overall experience was very enjoyable. This is a great place to visit for lunch or dinner. The walk outside after dinner topped off a great evening. Highly recommended!

Staff were nice and food was great. Due to covid, you order at the entrance window, and then you pick up your food inside. Inside bar was also open to order drinks and take to the outside sitting area. Staff were often cleaning tables. We went on a weekend at 3pm and they were not busy, but we spend some time around the area and when we were leaving at 5:30pm the line was very big.

Knowing I love seafood, a friend made reservations for us to celebrate my birthday at Huot's. One word sums it up, amazing! The food, amazing. The service, amazing. The atmosphere, amazing. The charm, amazing. Value for the money, amazing. Even the portion sizes considering I , gulp, ordered from the senior citizens menu was, yep, amazing. My one regret, it was my first visit. Of this you can be sure, it WILL NOT be my last.

They call it a clam cake but it's more like a clam patty; I could see lots of clams in it and it wasnt greasy at all. They have picnik tables out back, everything is to-go but it's nice they have a bar and places for you to sit @amp_eats (instagram and Facebook)

Outstanding food, plenty of outdoor seating, great live music, dogs welcome, right on the water, service was fast… it hit all the marks!

Best lobster dinner I’ve ever had. Great service. We enjoyed waiting at the bar for our table to be ready. All the staff was friendly. Great selection of local beer and wine. I’d suggest ordering the clam cake dinner or the lobster dinner - both were amazing.

Great food at a reasonable price given the location. The fisherman’s platter (technically the fried seafood combo) is excellent, and the whole belly clams were especially perfect. The menu is mainly seafood though, so don’t bring your picky friends 🙂

Always delicious! I long for clam cake burgers when I'm not in Maine and the fried scallops were unbelievably juicy and buttery and meaty, just absolutely perfect

Fantastic! Now I was back here after 1 Year - Haddock Chowder and Lobster Roll Special - Huot's is a must if you are in the area! I'll be back next year for sure during my next trip to Maine.

Always a great experience. Service is exceptional. We loved Megan. My family loves the homemade chocolate pie. If you could make a vegan alternative or use almond milk in your recipe instead of milk milk, I would be able to enjoy it too. Or, I can make you my vegan chocolate mousse pie. :)

Huot’s is consistently good and fresh. The haddock chowder is a family favorite for decades (though as the non Mainer, I prefer the clam). Also, the staff is super accommodating and helpful. My 90+ year old grandmother and I miscommunicated and double ordered and even though it was totally my screwup (or the hearing aid’s…), the manager refunded our duplicate and was kind about it. Always a good meal.

I loved this place. It's homey and not fancy, but the food is great. The best lobster I had during my whole visit to Maine. Really good and fairly priced. The lobster came with delicious cole slaw. I think there were fries, too, but the lobster stole the show. Great service as well. Definitely recommend.

Huots seafood is great! I tried the Fried Clams. My sister had Fried Scallops, and my Mother had Fried Haddock sandwich. Also ordered Onion Rings, and Clam Cakes. Big portions. Cooked perfectly. Great flavor. Onion Rings were big and flavorful. The Clam Cakes were not so tasty, more cake than clam. I will definitely go back again.
