Like went fairly quickly given that it was 7am on a holiday weekend. Staff was good about checking ingredients to make sure they were non-dairy and the drinks were nice!

I grabbed a cappuccino with some cinnamon on top, it was great. I liked it a lot more than a Starbucks cap. There was a line, but it moved really quickly and the staff are friendly and nice.

I picked up a latte and scone here and enjoyed by the fountain. One of the best coffees I have had. Quick service despite a line. Thanks

It's crazy that of all places the Italian coffee company illy would have a cafe inside the Delta terminal of the Detroit airport. Located right next to the big fountain, the cafe is centrally located in the terminal. Surprisingly, the line is never as long as that other big American chain with the lady in green despite having far superior (stronger) coffee. If you've never had an illy espresso drink before, brace yourself for some really good stuff. It's too bad that there aren't more merch available for purchase like the other illy cafes.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many of the shops in the McNamara terminal and airport (in general) were closed. Options were limited.

This coffee shop was one that I had not heard of before, and I really had no coffee substitutes to choose from. However, in a way, I am glad that I came here and tried their iced coffee.

When I go to a coffee shop, I usually order some sort of iced coffee. I do not like it to be on the overly sweet side where I am essentially drinking a cup of liquid sugar. I like the coffee to be strong and rich, and I like it to have a couple splashes of the sweet flavor. That was exactly what I received! The flavor I had with my iced coffee was caramel. The barista put in a very little amount that was perfect for complimenting the coffee's taste.

John at illy made me the BEST cafe mocha. Great service for a one man show on a Monday, thank you!

I and my wife got coffee here and there was one worker, young man with glasses. He was so kind and in the 15 minutes we were there he took over 15 orders. He was kind, courteous, and made great drinks! Whoever is the manager of this place, please give that kid a raise because many people wouldn’t have been able to give such great service by themself at 6am!

I mean to get the service I did really was terrific and unexpected!
I told them About a "honey badger" coffee drink I had in Florida and she ( with enthusiasm) did!!

I always stop here for coffee when I am in this terminal. The staff is always hustling, the line is never too long, and the food and coffee is good.

I fly through DTW often, and today was my best experience with Illy. I would like to recognize Nick for not only making an excellent cappuccino, but his speed and outstanding customer service!

I sometimes wonder if there’s something wrong with me when I think of how much I love sitting at this coffee shop in an airport. I look forward to people watching at the DTW Illy as much as reaching my destination. I wish there were more Illy cafes in the Midwest.

Baristas we’re great, excellent service, nice place to sit and relax and have a cup of coffee.

Always a good place for a coffee. I typically skip it because there is always a line. Today it was short and got a regular coffee and b’fast sandwich. The sandwich was a bagel with egg and cheese. It lacked salt and recommend the bacon egg cheese sandwich instead. Coffee was excellent as would be expected from Illy.

Best cappuccino at the DTW airport (or in town)... even better... there isn't a stupid long line like there is a the other "typical" coffee place.

New manager was very nice and made sure we got what we ordered
