I got the Mario croissant sandwich and WOW, I didn’t expect to enjoy a sandwich experience so much at the DTW. I had been debating whether to get the cheaper breakfast sandwich at McDonald’s, which faces Common Grace, but I took a chance and it definitely paid off. I’ll be trying to replicate that taste back in my kitchen.

Jessica came in clutch for being up early getting the store ready.
I had a flight at 4:45 and nothing was opened. Jessica was prepared, opened the cafe, and got our orders done under mins. I really appreciated her doing that since mcdonalds was closed and its my first time in Detroit!

I would post a pic, but I ate my sandwiches too quickly! Loved the service and food! The Mario and the French Granny were both really tasty. Really glad I stopped in!

Experience was good. Order lavender honey latte ($5.75ish) with a croissant ($3.25). The cashier was nice and trying to move and fast as she could. The food is pre-made. Bagel comes with cream cheese but you have to put it on yourself. Coffee was fine. The latte does come unsweetened so grab a pack or 2 of sugar. They have other grab and go bevs and raw juices and snacks. The vibe is very LA but lacks employees. Just coffee, go here. A full breakfast go to Coney a few feet away or McDonald's across the hall.

If you need a bagel in the morning like me, not the worst option. It’s hot and I can get it quick so I can’t really complain too much.

I have been here twice and the lattes have been really good both times. I subtracted a star for disgusting syrups to make the flavored drinks, but the coffee itself is pretty good.

Good coffee, but service was a bit slow for an airport. Hopefully, they'll catch their stride and speed up once they're open for a while.

Monday morning… I had the Mario sandwich(pre-made then heated to order) and although it was very tasty and warm they didn’t have any of the other sandwiches in stock. One person on the bar and one person taking orders plus making the food was not a good call. The line moved soooo slowly that people would leave the line and go across to McDonalds. The man and woman working were super kind but very slow as well. Coffee was perfect.

Didn’t end up buying anything, but employees were informative mentioning that the sandwiches were served cold.

The coffee tasted good, but it was served at an astronomically hot temperature, so much so that after some 25 minutes it was still too hot to reasonably drink. I do like my hot drinks hot, but this was just way over the top. Given that a lot of people may be rushing to get a coffee just before their flight, serving coffee at a temperature that's undrinkable seems imprudent at best.
