El Coyote Loko

We try to get take out at El Coyote Loko at least once every 2 months! It’s a little on the pricy side, but definitely quality food + the best Mexican in Livonia as far as we are concerned. Take out is always fast, the staff is always friendly and the food is always fresh! Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food!

Seems like a pretty chill place.
Things I liked: staff was super friendly. Smelled and looked clean. Menu was behind the register with large print making it easy to ready. Food was fresh, all the cheese was melted and very flavorful.
Things I'd like to see: organization at the front of the store. Yes, it was clean but it seemed cluttered as if someone started stocking the fridge but got distracted about half way through. Seating, I'd prefer to sit down and wait. I'd really like to be able to eat in there but understand that regulations/licensing may be a factor.

I would absolutely recommend.

Stopped in for lunch ( carry out only)- I ordered the taco lunch. The tacos were prepared perfectly. Even with a 10 minute drive. They were nice and hot when I got home. They weren’t soggy. Nice crisp corn tortilla beef tacos- these small salsa that came with it was perfect and so fresh and delicious- at first sight. I was very concerned about the refried beans because they were very watery-loose- in fact, I had accidentally tipped the container and the beans went into the rice. Thank goodness they did not go onto the tacos. The refried beans tasted delicious. Plenty of salt added- the rice had no flavor, but I added the leftovers also do it and that helped- the lunch came with a soft drink-

Service was very nice and quick. The front area was cluttered and messy- I wasn’t sure if they were redecorating or redoing the entrance area- sbut that had no effect on the taste of my food😁

Delicious tacos. Got 50 tacos for the team and everyone loved it. Quick, ready and decent price. I would recommend and order again. Beef and Chicken were ordered. Love the crispy corn shell.

If you are looking for that Mexican town taste from the city but don't want to go down there, come here! So delicious and authentic. Carry out only. On point everytime 😊

While I can't speak for dining in, I had a to go order. I can say that no matter the service, the food is worth it. They are reasonably priced. The food was excellent and the staff was very polite. I had tacos 🌮 and it came with beans and rice. The shells were fresh, and the meat had perfect seasoning/ sauce. The lettuce and tomatoes were also fresh and made the presentation and flavor that much better. If you're in the area and want some Mexican food beyond Taco Bell's measly offerings. Try this place! Your mouth, stomach, and wallet will be happy you did.

Authentic Mexican food the shredded beef burritos are to die for..super tasty always enough

The brothers at El Coyote Loko has been serving terrific, authentic Mexican food for years - and they still do it today. Don't want to trek to downtown SW Detroit? Swing over to Livonia for all that taste and delicioso food right here in the burbs! ⭐⭐⭐🌟

First time going here and was blown away by the quality of the food. Everything was made fresh to order and was very quick. I ordered the Mexican style tacos (2 chorizo and 1 chicken) they were authentic and phenomenal. Highly recommend checking El Coyote Loco

Some of the most remarkable Salsa I've ever experienced. The texture is delightful. The perfect amount of Cilantro to add that texture and taste. The spice level was perfection. I'd be happy to show up just to stock up on Salsa. The rest of the food is also excellent. Cheese and beans are both delicious. Their selection of Sodas are also very refreshing and different. Wonderful place... recommend.

Awesome, love the steak and cheese quesadillas and the beef burritos 😋. Food is always fresh and the restaurant is always clean. I do like the other latin restaurants around Plymouth, northville, Livonia and Westland but this probably my favorite. Their prices are a bit higher than others but the quality of food is worth it. I decided to order here at least 5 different occasions before writing this review. They have been consistent.

Best salsa, I absolutely love this place. Eat here at least once a week.

Best tacos I ever had

Authentic food for a reasonable price. They have Jarritos in small and large bottles. Not much seating, this restaurant does a lot of carryout. The chicken is really well seasoned, as is the steak. The guacamole is heavy on the onions, but the fresh corn chips are delightful.

The best Mexican street tacos I’ve ever had! Their chicken is so flavorful and perfectly seasoned. Their salsa is one of the best I’ve ever tried. I will definitely be frequenting El Coyote Loko. The two chefs, Alex & Ozzie, are wonderful and accommodating. If you want AUTHENTIC Mexican food, come here!

Ordered food here on multiple occasions and I have never been disappointed. The chips and salsa are some of the best I've ever had, you can really taste the freshness. Everything is delicious. My only complaint is that they are not open later or on Sunday's! I will keep coming back as long as they keep making delicious food!

Got the burger nachos and deep fried flour tacos 🌮 😋. Haven't been here in a couple of years but the service is still great and food is as good as before. Can't wait to go back and try something new.

The food was really good. It was a little slow but it was worth the wait. If you have the time try it.

Goodness this place is great! Been around for YEARS I tell ya, best darn Mexican hole-in-the-wall foodery in Livonia. I love getting the combos that come with their tacos, burritos, and enchiladas. The portions are large and will fill you up fast. Their guacamole is some of the best home-made green stuff that I've tasted. The owner is kind and the place is sparkly clean. The service is quick too.
