Northern has a great team, willing to go the extra distance to find customer solutions.

Shout out to I believe his name was Brendon. He went above and beyond helping us replace our dump cart wheels and chainsaw chain without us having the exact measurements. He even helped us save some money! This was our first time in Northern Tools and we will definitely be coming back for our tool needs. The staff made the store have a welcoming atmosphere.

The worker was very helpful to help me with chain I needed and found more chain binders that I needed.

Every time we have shopped at our local NT, the associates have been incredibly pleasant, even during the days they were incredibly short staffed. Each person we had contact with have always been helpful, knowledgeable and friendly!

This branch has really turned around. It used to have very poor service and general issues, I never liked going here, would only do so if necessary. The new team members (new management too?) have been very helpful and friendly, a huge improvement from the near past. Only downside is they are understaffed...but who isn't.

I ordered several corrugated metal raised garden beds online that would be picked up at your Duluth location this summer. It was a very smooth process. When they arrived at the Duluth store, I received notification that I could pick them up. The store staff were extremely helpful in locating my order and assisting with delivery of the beds to my car and loading them for me. Excellent service!

I like Northen Tool + Equipment store. I have been shopping there for a few years, though not very often. It has a feel of a friendly family store and I have never encountered rudeness from the staff. They have good sale prices too and I even found some cool outdoor furniture online. I think people generally underestimate this company; I would recommend giving them a chance.

I live in excess of 30 minutes from Northern Tool. The online store said there was one sprayer tank left. In order for me to drive there and make sure there was a tank left, I contacted the store. The clerk checked the shelves, said that they did have one left, and would hold it for me. I paid online with PayPal and everything went smoothly. I can appreciate good customer service and today the service was 5-star.

I had a mishap with something that was supposed to be shipped to my house and got the run around from their corporate. I stopped going there because of it.. I went back 6 months later because I needed a tool. I had mentioned to the lady working that I had a bad experience and without hesitation she got on it. When she couldn't dig any deeper she brought the Mgr and they made it right. I will definitely be going back again after that! Thanks to Janice and Debbie. Your customer service is second to none!

Extremely clean and bright store. Large selection of Stihl chainsaws along with knowledgeable staff to assist. Extremely good time to purchase as you get $60 off any $60 dollar purchase when you apply for a credit card. Easy parking and quality products available.

The Sales staff are very friendly and exceedingly helpful. They know what great customer service is and they deliver. They have a big selection of tools from small to large. About anything you'll need for working on cars, welding, carpentry, masonry. They have everything you might need for your trailer and sell good quality built trailers at reasonable prices. Check for sales; there is usually a discount either in their flyer or on the web.

i've had nothing but great service and quality tools from northern tool and would recommend them over any department store. I alike the fact that they're employees actually know what they're selling you

Always friendly and available to help. If I can't find someone in the store, the cashier has gotten someone for me quickly.

They were great. I went in by recommendation of an O'reilly employee. "They handle a lot of trailer parts". Boy was he right. Fleet Farm didn't have it and Northern was better priced on everything. The employees are also very helpful. Keep it Northern Tool & Equipment.

good prices and great staffing

Went in to buy a generator and was helped by Josh. They did everything possible to ensure customer satisfaction, even including allowing me to exchange for a more powerful model the next day. Awesome customer service - better than expected. Thanks Josh and team!

Excellent service, many quality tools parts and a variety of items to choose from, the staff is willing to help. In July they started to do a ten percent military discount and I greatly appreciate their efforts to support the troops excellent job Northern tool & equipment!
