Café Hitchcock

Stopped in for a drink and it was great. Reasonably priced, well done craft cocktails! We didn't try the food but the bartender did a great job with our Irish coffees (actual cream floater and a hot glass) and hot toddies on a chilly winter afternoon!

Definitely coming back. The staff were inviting and entertaining. Food was yummy. We had the Garden Bowl, PBJ Smoothie (not pictured), the Avocado Toast sans queso (not pictured), and a bloody mary.

Great place. I wish I lived closer because I’d visit this place often. Coffee, lunch, and a bar with the largest liquor selection I’ve ever seen.
I wish the portions were bigger because it was so good and then all the sudden it’s gone and it’s not appropriate to lick your bowl.

I went to work for a bit in this coffee shop and got a latte to drink. A bit strange why they do not offer drip coffee the only option is to buy a pricier drink like a latte or americano if one just wants the caffeine from a coffee and does not want the fancy drinks.

Otherwise great environment to work in. If you have calls, you would need to step out to take them because it is a bit too loud.

Stopped for lunch at Cafe Hitchcock on Bainbridge Island and was very impressed. Service was a bit slow but they were quick to communicate the expected delay. Food was delicious and fairly priced. Great wine selection as well. Will definitely make it a must stop in our future adventures on the island.

Amazing service. The bartender/waiter noticed that our young daughter was not feeling it (minor breakdown, totally normal for a hungry three year old). He immediately offered kid friendly beverages and brought over orange slices. He also brought extra cherries with her Shirley Temple and offered to show her the croissant options at the cafe. The definition of above and beyond, and it worked miracles.

Coffee is top notch. Cocktail selection is good and what we tried was well made and delicious. Pastrami sandwich is the best Pastrami sandwich I’ve ever had. I’ll be coming back just for this!

Honestly I had the BEST Bloody Mary ever , and add to that the BEST house made kombucha !
Bainbridge Island itself is such a majestic place and this restaurant can pride itself in brining thoughtful organic fine cuisine and drinks to accompany the flavor of this beautiful Island.
I am a huge breakfast person myself so I tried the overnight oats. The dollop of fruit purée takes this dish to a new level . We also tried the tomato soup , roast beef sandwich and the spring vegetable tartine. Each dish was exquisitely presented and delicious with great service to match.
The decor and interior flows with the ambiance of the island .

Me and my girlfriend are from Dallas and we’re on the island looking for food, ended up finding this place which had great atmosphere, the food was absolutely fantastic! All from farm to restaurant style food. The drinks we had were fantastic. Highly recommend the old-fashioned, which is vanilla bean and saffron infused bourbon. The Bloody Mary is refreshing as well. The staff is super friendly And will make you feel at welcomed.

Food 5; Ambiance 4.5; Service 5; Everyone is very friendly and accommodated my children's orders. They made a delicious, huge PB&J made from their homemade plum jam, yum! The sandwiches were hearty full of meat and flavor. The beet salad was fresh and uniquely, delicious. 4 people; $67

The black lime Kombucha was fantastic. So was the Boccha smoothie. I really liked the chicken wrap, it was light and packed full of flavor.

Really enjoyed the food. We went for a quick lunch, the soup and pastrami sandwich was good, the turkey was just Ok, nothing special.
Perfect quick stop after crossing on the car ferry from Seattle.
The place was clean and had friendly service.

Great spot for brunch and lunch as well as cocktails. Always a spot at the bar. I had the shakshuka and it was super tasty. The eggs were a little overdone, but overall wonderful dish with a lot of flavors.

Have you seen a better looking salad? I haven’t. Stop by for lunch on your way through!

Great service and one of the Roast Beef Sandwich I have ever had. The meat was so tender and delicious served with a nice side salad. I would certainly recommend here for a lunchtime snack.

Enjoyed a nice little lunch at Hitchcock Deli recently. Atmosphere was casual, laid back. Service was decent. Time from food orders to delivery to table was on the slower side. However, the food was delicious. The avocado toast was by far one of the best we’ve had. Toast was a bit on the harder side (probably due to the freshness) but the topping was absolutely delicious and beautiful! Our main waitress was great, the only thing that was weird was another waitress came over and tried to take the menus away from us presuming we are only getting teas/coffees without actually asking. Other than that, we enjoyed our experience.

We've been going to Hitchcock since it opened. Big fans of the coffee. In fact, we got coffee here the morning of our wedding. The salted chocolate chunk cookies are also a must.

Super cute little eatery. Menu is small but the food was excellent! A deli that serves booze is always a plus. Waitress went above and beyond and sent us home with some of their homemade blueberry jam!

In town for a few days and popped in for a beer. Staff was amazing and had a hometown bar/cafe feel. Beer was good but we didn’t eat there as we had other plans for lunch. Hindsight should have stayed for lunch. Bar tender gave us excellent advice of things to see. We might actually pop back over when we return from cruise for lunch .

I ordered a plain hot latte and I think it was the best coffee I’ve ever had. All of the food and drinks we got were amazing, and the woman who took our order and made our coffees was a gem. She was very busy and still made our drinks quickly, deliciously, and with a smile.

Excellent drinks, very well stocked bar with excellent service. Great atmosphere in this little bar for a quick snack and drink.
