Very informative and uniquely narrated. The self-guided tour was progressive as it led you through the different time periods of area development.
The life-sized displays and artifacts, combined with the painted murals and simulated lightening/thunderstorm was well done and reminded me of Los Vegas, Ceasars Palace.
Very good

This is a fantastic experience, museum, and rest area. I have brought a granddaughter here, 8 years old, and she loved it! Still talks about it 2 years later! Really a great experience! There is a guided tour with headphones, and even gold panning at the end.

Ran the inaugural Buffalo Stampede today. Archway grounds were landscaped perfectly. Inside was as well. A great first experience.

The self-guided tour was great since you could choose how long you were there! The view of the traffic on the interstate below was really neat too.

Was educational and fun. Museum you must take family too. All ages! It spans across the highway. There's lots of statues out front and a trail you can walk. Can even feed the huge fish for a quarter!

Great stop on I80. Spend an hour or so in the interactive museum. From colonial cross country pioneer families to modern day road travel, the exhibit traces the hardships, travails and tragedies of the past and the up to date radar speed detectors. Lincoln Highway afficiondos will enjoy the exhibit. Locals will learn the history of their area. There is also an out door area that will be great during good weather.

This is a great family museum. I was very impressed with how the museum was set up and it had lots of great information about the Oregon, Mormon and California trails along with beautiful murals and statues. Also comes with a hand held remote to listen to the info.

Nice place to get out and stretch your legs, and let dogs take a little walk.

A modern museum of the history of the Platte valley. The first exhibit might scare kids under 6 but it tries to be realistic without excessive gore. You might want to see the Cadillac!

I have visited the Archway several times when traveling on 80 across Nebraska. It is not only an impressive structure, it is also a worthwhile attraction. The museum is a walking tour of the history and sights seen by pioneers, travelers in the 19th century overland and 20th century by automobile and, yet to be finished, into the future. The history of the "great river road" is told by words, pictures, exhibits, and full scale reproductions of period furnishings, artifacts and environments encountered along the way. It requires about an hour to be able to say you have "seen" what is presented, but you could easily spend a couple of hours or more to take in all it has to offer. Visit the gift shop, appreciate the surrounding area across the road, the structure of the building; walk around and slow down from the race track that you have been traveling. Imagine crossing the great plains on foot for the first time.
There is also an eating establishment but you can easily drive into town and eat at the many places along the main road. It is also a good place to visit after getting gas in town. Children definitely benefit from the living history they experience especially if they are interested in how things "used to be." Please, leave all electronic devices in the car and be prepared to experience the past.

Wish we had time to do the self guided tour. The characters were great. Normal tourist stuff in the gift shop.

The self paced tour was cool. Its a history of the settling if the west. They give you a remote that you point at a certain area and you listen to a recording about that item. Well worth the stop!
