Evolution Fitness

I have been a member of Evolution Fitness for about 7 months now. I originally started with the 6 month membership to try it out and extended it because I feel comfortable with this place. Staff is very friendly, the facility is kept clean and organized. They have group classes with GREAT trainers that offer different programs depending on each persons focus. I personally don’t miss any HIIT day with Ilca. I have tried multiple classes but hers fits best with my current workout routine and I am loving my journey!! I can proudly say that I am able to see improvement on my own self and I am pretty sure many feel the same way with their routines with each trainer.
They also have a muscle therapy room (which I haven’t tried but I think it’s a cool concept to have), and a little cute store where they sell clothes, gym gear, pre workouts, and other stuff. Sauna, juice bar, tanning machine, and awesome trainers/instructors + a clean facility (with the weights often being put back on its place) it’s the kind of gym facility and community Evolution Fitness is.

Great gym, excellent machines, temperature, cleanliness and staff.
Sometimes the song from the classes are too loud on the workout area, and they should spread more disinfectant and rags around the gym to make it easy clean your machine.
But overall this gym is awesome.
If I live in Newark, I would select this gym certainly.

I was actually really scared to join but I been going since the start of March and I totally love this gym. The instructors for Zumba are great and their classes really motivate me to go to the gym. They have other classes that are hard but fun and the staff / trainers are friendly and nice. Overall, amazing!!

This is the best gym that I have ever been a member for. The equipment is the best. New with all of the latest machines. There is a lot of variety and the even have my favorite belt hook ups for squats. This gym also has great policies around keeping the area clean. The managers train the employees to thoroughly disinfect the equipment throughout the day. The managers and staff are helpful and friendly. The trainers know what they are talking about when they provide instruction and the attendees at the juice bar are friendly and know how to make their specialty smoothies perfectly. I highly recommend this gym. It will always be my favorite.

I love this gym. Been a member for years. It upsets me when I see malicious people giving this place a negative review and don’t write the reason. It’s obvious it’s coming from other gyms or just people with grudges. Go see for yourself and make your own judgment.

The Zumba class with Santiago is excellent. The gym is nice too.

I love the environment its so clean spacious and the staff is super friendly. From the outside it can be mistaken for a hot night club however inside the zumba class definitely feels like you're partying you get free towels and access to everything and although I dont have small children I lloovvee the fact that they have a daycare for parents that's so thoughtful and helpful I enjoyed my first night at Zumba the instructor was really nice and friendly and so were the other ladies in the class I felt welcomed and the nicest thing I was told don't feel discouraged just have fun

Walked in and was easily able to set up a membership. Started a monthly plan which is perfect for my needs. There is a wide selection of free weights and machines to get in a good workout. Overall pleased, excited to workout here the next 3 months

I have been a member at Evolution since it’s grand opening. The fitness area and the class rooms are always extremely clean. However, I go to Evolution for their state of the art equipment. Any and every muscle group and every possible way of isolating it. There is a machine to do so at Evolution Gym. Also, the on location physical therapy really creates a total wellness experience. Then, the free parking and the day care make it realistic for me and my spouse to exercise together. Member for life.

Big open modern style gym with amazing atmosphere and beautiful new equipment. This is definitely one of the best gyms in Newark or surrounding area to go! Friendly staff and great products available from shakes to supplements they have you covered.

This gym is awesome, always clean and well kept. I have been been coming for a year and i plan on continuing to come. The staff is friendly and the gym has a cool modern look. You should consider signing up if you want support in reaching your fitness goals, there are a lot of great trainers

I came for a day pass with my friend and I absolutely loved it the moment I walked in. It is so clean: machines, workout room, locker room, sauna, even the kids room looks clean and organized! Rui’s energy brings the place to life. The gym feels like home and is a completely different vibe than any other chain gym I have been to. In addition, the sauna is an amenity I was personally looking for and Evolution Fitness has it. What I appreciate the most is the professionalism and attention of the personnel here. In only month here, I have noticed that the members here are individuals that are focused and dedicated to their personal fitness and health. This highly contributes to the ambiance of the gym, evidently committed to personal development and excellence. This is not a place to hang out, but to get work done.

Spacious, a lot of equipment, free classes provided among sign-up. Aesthetically pleasing gym as well! Upon sign-up, the staff was receptive and explained every plan thoroughly until I was able to choose the one that worked best for me. Great experience so far

I’ve been going to gyms for over 30 years. This is the first time I found a gym that has all the exercise equipment you can possibly think of
and more. Even on busy days there is more than enough equipment to hit whatever muscle or muscles you’re focusing on hard.
Also, there are more machines, squatting racks, weights, dumbbells, barbells, curling bars, straight bars, ropes, and hand attachments than I have ever witnessed.
Finally the gym is extremely clean and has great refreshments for purchase.

I joined when I moved to this area and it’s the best gym I’ve ever worked out at. I highly recommend it

Been a member for a few years and have nothing negative to say about this place. It’s a fantastic gym with great equipment and an even better atmosphere. Staff is SUPER friendly and inviting especially Rui, he’s the man! Would recommend 10/10
