Best little hot dog place around. Been going every chance I get for 40+ yrs. It was a tradition that started with my parents that I carried on with my kids. I love that the place has never changed in all those years and brings back memories. Standing outside watching the hotdogs turn. Always bring 2 dzn dogs and extra sauce home.

Not just a greasy spoon. It’s not just an aesthetic. This place is the real deal. Why have one got dog when you can have two, why have two hot dogs when you can have four covered in meat sauce and mustard. The little dogs are so cute and satisfying to eat. But don’t miss the burger. It doesn’t look like much but it’s truly special. The fries are also perfect. Wish I could be a regular here

Pretty good reasonably price little dig in Troy, NY.

We stopped by on a Tuesday afternoon while heading home from further upstate.

We ordered three hotdogs one “all the way” which includes onions and meat sauce, a chicken sandwich, two large fries, and two Italian sausage sandwiches.

Food was cooked fresh and was well tasting. Reasonable cost and the place has a neat back story involving a marine and the U.S. Embassy in Moscow, so stop by a take a read.

I loved the food... I gave them 5 stars because they have great food and service... The prices are the best I've ever experienced in this economy... And for the quality of taste it just made sense to give them a Five star review...

Another institution of the area, if your from the it them or the other place across the river. For me I will eat both. Never can go wrong with a dog with the works and a chocolate milk.

Hands down one of the best places to visit in troy. Might as well be a historic site with how long they've been providing well priced, good food to the community.

Quick, cheap and delicious food. A must stop for some famous mini hot dogs. Cheeseburgers are great too. And try their BLTs too. I just absolutely love it here.

You can't go wrong. My family has been eating g mini dogs for 70 yrs.

$5 for four dogs with meat sauce, onions and mustard and a drink. Who could ask for more?? Fantastic old school diner restaurant with bar and bench seating. Very friendly staff as well. A most go if you plan on visiting Troy.

Was here yesterday, the staff is so nice. The food was outrageous. If your looking for some good eats it's right here. Everything is freshly made to your delight! Eat here! It's Amazor!

A must visit for anyone need troy looking for a no frills local diner. This is a great place for a quick and hearty meal. I recommend to start with the special. Then the zippy burger. Almost always the same crew working there, big personalities tons of fun, fantastic people.

This little hidden gem was been in troy for over 80 years.it looks like it. A true hole in the wall. About 20 counter "bar" seat 7 or 8 booths. These tiny little hot dogs with their famous meat sauce is to die for. Pepper and onion sandwich is the best in town. Really all their food is amazing. They always have fresh pies. Old school RC cola cans. Bathrooms are old but clean.

You ever heard of “Operation Hot Dogs”? Picture this: 1958, a young marine from the block, Corporal Gordon Gundrum, stationed way out in Moscow at the U.S. Embassy, was just dyin' for a taste of home. So what did they do? Flew in those Troy hot dogs right to the embassy for the U.S. Ambassador's birthday bash. Crazy, right? That's when Quick Lunch became “World Famous.” Ain't nothin' more New York than makin' headlines for hot dogs!

Fast forward to today, and this place ain't lost its touch. Still servin' up those iconic dogs and shippin' 'em out across the globe. I mean, people all over are straight up fiendin' for a taste of that “Famous Hot Dog.”

Now, lemme tell ya 'bout my visit. I went for the 4 weiners, all decked out in meat sauce and onions. And to wash it down? An RC cola – none of that Coke or Pepsi nonsense. And let me tell ya, it was a tough call, 'cause they got this all-day breakfast that was temptin' as all get out. But for 7 bucks? Man, those dogs were callin' my name!

Chili dogs are to die for! Great burgers and fries too 🍔🌭. Old time feel with atmosphere & decor. If they got a fountains machine & took debit cards they could grow further I feel. Atm is store provided though.
