Whiskey Hideaway

My husband and I tried whiskey hide away this week for the first time. Our server Andrew was awesome. Quick, precise, pleasant. The food was delicious. And cocktails were perfect! Will be going back again.

The restaurant is very spacious with ample amounts of television for sport fans, a wide selection of alcoholic beverages, a bunch of pool tables, and a good variety of foods. Terry provided great service as he was quick, friendly, and attuned to diners' needs. I got the truffled mushroom burger which was definitely quite big and flavorful, with a side of sweet potato waffle fries which was a bit too sweet for me since they sprinkled sugar on it. Overall it was a great dining experience and I look forward to trying their other foods one day soon! It's a great place to chill where you can grab some beer and snacks as you watch the game or shoot pool! There's also occasional events being hosted here so call in advance to inquire if there's any fun activities planned when you go

Whiskey Hideaway is absolutely what Staten Island has been missing. The food is great! I had the Elvis burger and shared the poutine (disco fries), cheesesteak empanadas, and pretzel sticks. Everything was top notch! The drinks were also good, and not your average offering.

We really appreciated the professional pool hall on the other side of the bar. It looked like there were at least 10 tables and you rented them by the hour. I have not seen a pool set up like that with a hostess in years. Very nice, and definitely a reason to come back and hang out. Whiskey Hideaway is not just for dinner, it is a destination!

Great food, great drinks and great atmosphere. Been there on Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. Have not been disappointed with any food or drink item. The cheesesteak empanadas are addicting! The margarita drink-I forgot the name- is so delicious not synthetic and simply delicious.

Jameson shrimp and cheesesteak empanadas…. Mmmm delish! Desert cocktail menu 😋. Sampled only a fraction of the menu, but the food was hot and flavorful. Katelynn was sweet and attentive. Drinks were strong… love the barrels… overall a spot to check out!

The quality of the cocktails at Whiskey Hideaway are nothing short of incredible for a place on Staten Island. Makes you really feel like you’re somewhere else.

The Smokey old fashioned is outstanding.

And the wings are some of the best I’ve had on the Island, which in the case of wings is really saying something.

Highly recommend to anyone in the area to check this place out for food and drinks, not to mention they have an entire room full of immaculate pool tables.

Came with family food was delicious drinks were good. The ambiance was good as well. We also played pool after would definitely recommend to others. I got a double decker grilled cheese and I added a burger patty it was delicious!!

Likely one of the only places where they let you leave totally Whacked. More recently almost got sideswiped at 11pm nearby the driver swerved off and went into a ditch. The 3 photos I uploaded were from other female drivers totally Unaware they drove home... when people crash its usually funny.

Best Wings in the area. I dont drink much but I do enjoy when people "attempt" to go home after a few rounds.

It's been my go to Sunday night as Sundays are my Fridays. It's nice to have a place to unwind after a workweek. The only thing I wish is that they would add the loaded nachos to the late night menu. I gave the service 3 stars because of the bartenders. One is extremely slow, and the other just doesn't really care about what he makes or his customers.

Whiskey Hideaway is worth finding! Only open a couple of weeks, we enjoyed our family night evening. The food and specialty cocktails were tasty. Sophia, our server, was attentive and super friendly. The décor is cool. It was fun to be able to play a few games of pool after eating. IMO there should have been louder music playing. The place is too large to be quiet. They explained that they were having an issue with their Wi-Fi. We're all looking forward to our next visit.

Great burger, great bourbon list, very good service (but our server was only one working). Looking forward to next trip there!

With a charcuterie board, seven cheese mac and cheese and double decker grilled cheese on the menu this place takes cheese seriously. I had the double decker and will go back for the mac and cheese if I get a chance. The tap list is average but they did have a few interesting choices in cans. I’m not a whisky drinker but they did have a lot of whisky so if that’s your drink of choice you can enjoy a good whisky with your choice if cheesy goodness. The music was a little loud but not so much that you couldn’t talk to someone. There is also a good amount of pool tables.

Found this place by accident (not a decertified enough). Took my boys for a pool game since I haven’t played in 20years. Had a great time. Nice place, very open and clean. Had a draft Blue Moon which was perfectly poured and cold, there is a full Bar with a huge variety of spirits. Also some happy hour eats like wings, fried pickle and for the first time for me Sweet tater tots which were really yummy tasted like mini churros if you know what that is. Overall I give it two thumbs up. Will definitely be back again with family and friends

had a truffle burger with fries at Smokey whiskey on the rocks. The burger was very perfect with juicy patty and a bond that didn't sogg and everything was delicious. would recommend

Absolutely loved it and will definitely be back ! Great food , decor and vibe ! The owner and wait staff were wonderful and so welcoming .

1st time there food was spot on and so was the whole experience great staff and lots of fun. Highly recommend

I absolutely loved the buffalo dip w flatbread..the fried chicken fry w mash and the mac and cheese and wings were delicious definitely coming back

Just checked out this place after work and it is definitely a great spot! It's very spacious and clean. The food was outstanding and the service was great! I will definitely be coming back again.
