Dr. R. Scott Morris, MD, FACC, FACP

Dr. Morris is an incredible doctor. He really takes his time to listen to your concerns and does a great job explaining testing results, symptoms, and diagnosis’s. He’ll take his time drawing out diagrams to give his patients a clear visual on what is happening in the patients body. He makes you feel very comfortable and relaxed during your appointment with him, which is a difficult thing to accomplish when dealing with heart issues.

You will not find a better heart doctor in the area,

On my 6 mo follow up visit with Dr. Morris I waited one hour past my appointment time, then the staff lost track of what room I was in and called my husband to find out why I left. Dr. Morris spent 5 minutes with me, no blood test or EKG was given, and he told me to take vitamins a blood test would have revealed I did not need. He said my blood pressure was high, told me to do more yoga and exercise, and come back in 12 weeks--or else he'd have to put me on medication. A very distressing experience from a rushed, consescending physician and incompetent staff.

Stay away! My 83 year old mother is a patient. They called me twice to schedule a CT scan of her heart with no explanation. I told the scheduler I wanted to speak directly to Dr. Morris before consenting to the scan. His nurse returned my call and said Dr. Morris had just returned from vacation and “frankly didn’t have time to return calls.” She also offered that the request to scan my mothers heart was a “miscommunication”. Really?? The scheduler called me TWICE!
