Applebee's Grill + Bar

It's my first time at Applebee's with a group of people. I never went to an Applebee's in my life,but when I went inside this one, that was next to a movie theater, it was like any bar I have ever seen. This place was nice and fancy.👍 The atmosphere there was freedom like. 🇺🇲 It just open at 11:00 a.m. and we were greeted by a waitress who gave us a tour of the kitchen and what employees do in there. She told us how dishes were washed,where are the food was stored, how it was made and how the food is delivered. 🍔🍟🍺🍽🧑‍🍳 The food was delicious and so is the ice cream. 🍔🍨🍟 She made us poor our own drinks, which is kind of cool. The burger and fries also the ice cream all came out to $11 I made the choice to pay a $4 tip. There is also a bar on the other side but I think that was only for adults. This was a great place to be in and I wonder if I would come here again. I know that there's other locations in Staten Island but this one was awesome 😎. Maybe if I give them a five-star rating, they'd offer me free food. I'm only joking. 😃

We went here for a Fundraiser, it had been awhile since we were there. 1st kudos to Applebee's for dining to donate 20% to charity. Love this about them. Our waitress was friendly, personable and made sure other customers knew about the fundraiser. Our food was good. Not a gourmet meal but it's Applebee's so it was good enough. None of us had any complaints, the food was tasty. Drink specials were decent. $5 for a big drink is a deal!! There was also live music, which was nice. Thank you again Applebee's for supporting the community.

The food was really good! Our server was very attentive and made some great drink recommendations! The manager Sarah came over just to say hello and ask how we were doing, which I thought was very sweet. 10/10 recommend.

This branch went through a transformation a while back. The food went from unrecognizable to really good. I order take out and go there for breakfast pretty often. Always on point. Staff is always great too. Sorry I don't know her name but the lady who always serves us breakfast is great

Stopped by for the amazing wonton tacos that are my favorite. The atmosphere was nice. Staff was nice. Service was excellent. I had Sarah and if im ever back in town, I’ll definitely be asking for her again.

I love applebees. From the food to the service, it never disappoints. Personally I like to order the chicken fajita rollup or one of their many salad options. They do also make alcoholic drinks which are almost mocktails. I like the bowls and how they offer seasonal recipes. However there isn't much alcohol content in these drinks. The service is fast and the food doesn't take too long to come out which is an added bonus. It can be a loud atmosphere so if you are looking for a quiet, intimate setting, this is not the place for you. Great to watch sports and enjoy having a drink at the bar.

Our sever were amazing thank you for entertaining my kid and she was attentive on what we need and so is other staffs.

Amazing experience for a neighborhood eatery! Had an issue with our steak and the manager went above and beyond to make it right! Food was great and topped only by our wonderful server Kayleigh. For a new server on her first night she was fast, friendly and very welcoming with a great table side manner!

I came here yesterday for lunch, had a great experience. The food was good and my server Gillian was very attentive.

As a restaurant very close to where I live, I've been going to Applebee's for well over a decade. For instance, I remember going to Applebee's on a field trip as a kid when I was in PS3 and getting a coupon which my mom used multiple times throughout my childhood. Back then, the waiter always generously let my mom reuse the coupon multiple times.

Another vignette I have of my many visits to Applebee's is when they had an all you can eat buffet that included chicken tenders, fries and mozzarella sticks. I went there and had at least 6 plates of each. The waiter was mildly amused over the whole episode. Eventually, after about 6 hours, I vomited at least half of what I ate. Either way I don't regret eating that much even to this day. Oddly, the act of vomiting actually felt somewhat satisfying, if not unburdening; as if I was firing a laser from my mouth that got rid of all of the bloat and dead weight in my body.

Furthermore, I want to give a shoutout to the waitress that gave me a free dessert because all of my friends ordered one but me. It was an act of unmitigated kindness that I treasure from the bottom of my heart. It's been at least a few years since it happened but I'll still never forget such a generous and charitable act.

As for the food, I find it on average that the portions are small but taste very good. This observation is of course based what I get there. The mozzarella sticks at Applebees are especially delicious and probably my favorite option when it comes to mozzarella sticks. One tip about handling Applebee's portions is to always get the 2 for 20(Or whatever it is now, 24?) as the individual orders are overpriced and give portions that are anemic compared to other restaurants. As a result, it's your best chance of getting a fair price compared to other restaurants.

Ultimately, Applebee's is a restaurant that gives food that tastes very good albeit overpriced food.

My experience was amazing! I was there on Saturday and I had Gillian as my server and she was so attentive and knowledgeable about all of the specials including the drink specials, which were delicious, and even made us aware of the breast cancer donation which I thought was very kind!

Went here tonight and everything was absolutely amazing, was greeted as soon as I walked in, the host was friendly the bartender had a smile the whole time we were there and I was amazed and how well everyone worked as a team. Will def be back to this location.(:

Kayla is a great waitress very friendly and efficient. I ordered a spinach salad with whole grains and a sirloin on top. I told her medium well and it was spot on!! 4:30pm isn't too busy. Great experience.

Our waitress Melody was a sweetheart. we had 3 young kids with us and she took care of them first. Food came out quickly and was delicious. The manager Kristian was on top of everything and made sure everything was what we ordered. Will definitely be going back.

We ordered the 2 for 35. So worth it. The absolute best service I’ve received in any restaurant in a long time. Our waitress Nicole was consistent, bubbly and so welcoming to our child. They also have $6 summer drinks which I had the tropical margarita. Very good made with Dwayne Johnson’s tequila. Thank you Applebees and thank you Nicole. We will be back!!

Love this Applebee's. We had the BEST waitress named Kayla. She was super kind and brought all the food out in a timely manner. It makes a world of difference when just one person shows they care and Kayla did just that, brightened up my day! Also, shout out to the manager, Sarah, she helped me with a previous online order issue, incredibly helpful
