The Feed Barn at Mahopac

Great local pet store! Their prices are always fair and the service always great. The prices on dog toys actually often are cheaper than the bigger pet stores. I do wish that after what feels like decades, that they would fix the automatic opening doors of their store and allow for more seamless entrance and exit from the premises. Aside from that, a happy long time customer.

Extremely friendly, thoughtful and knowledgeable employees. Prices are better than any competitors including the online places. Very good selection of items for all pets plus farm animals. They special ordered for me an item, and when I arrived at the store there was not one but three for me to choose from, and to top it off they charged me 20% less than it was showing on Amazon . They support pet adoption and and many other humane causes. Store is clean and orderly.

I absolutely love this store! I’m able to fulfill all of my feed needs in one place, even tractor supply doesn’t have everything feed barn carries! Their prices are great and their staff is wonderful!!

Love this place! I actually used to be their Pro-Plan dogfood representative back in the early 2000's. Oftentimes I stop by in my travels between Lake George and Long Island to pick up a few things for my dogs. So very deeply sorry to hear about Jim's passing on to the heavenly realm as I truly loved that man. Thanks for the great product lines and great service! May the good Lord bless this wonderful family run business for many years to come!

Bought cat food..All the employees are very nice and their food prices are reasonable.
