Storming Crab - Cincinnati OH

This place opened earlier in July, so this was my first visit. The service was good and our server was knowledgeable and helpful. A little pricey for fixed income but still worth it. Market price was a lot lower 30 years ago. The wife had twin lobster tails and I had gumbo and fried cod. Both were very good but not exceptional. The gumbo is a different story, just returned from Gulf Shores, Alabama had gumbo at six different restaurants and this was better than five of them. SEAFOOD BREAD, WHAT? Never heard of it, FREAKING EXQUISITE. I’ll be back just for that and the gumbo.

I had the Sharkbite Margarita. It was amazing! I tipped the women who made if $5 because she nailed it!
Isaiah was my waiter. I was very impressed with his hospitality and ability to remember my order without writing anything down.
The Gumbo with rice soup, WOW!!!!! It could totally be ordered as a meal itself if one eat it alone. The bowl was big and I shared it with my husband.
I ordered the shrimp basket. It was perfect. The shrimp was plump and comes 8 in an order with cchoice of side and complimentary garlic cheese bread.
I will definitely come back again. I went on a Friday nigjt 80 minutes prior to close. It was quite and service was excellent.

Shrimp with head off, 2 lobster tails, sausage, potatoes and a side of gator bites with Cajun fries!! Delicious and great service. Food came out quick. I will always come back for my seafood fix!

My husbad and I decided to try this place out... We had absolutely no idea what we were about to get our selves into!! The menu was just a little overwhelming at first but we figured it out..at least we thought so. We both got boils, his came with crab legs, crawfish, and shrimp. I went for the lobster, crawfish, and clams. Each boil also had red potatoes and corn on the cob....we read that part... completely ingnoring the phrase that explained how there would be 1 lb. Of each item!! I had 5lbs. And so did he.
Oh.. don't worry, we stuffed ourselves.. then took the rest home. This food was so amazing, we were right back in the bag 30 minutes later!!

We're very satisfied. I got 2lbs snow crab in medium cajun boil. Chris got a whole lobster and scallops in garlic butter boil. We loved it! Garlic cheese bread to start, which was so cheesy. Big portions (market price so be prepared to spend). Not busy at all at 430 on a Wednesday, but I bet it fills up quickly on the weekend, especially in Lent. I know I'll be craving this for awhile. In Northgate Mall, wheelchair accessible. Sturdy chairs without arms.

helpful and pleasant to interact with. The items are worth the price. The complimentary bread given is outstanding! It was so wonderful that I ordered more. I look forward to eating here again. If you're not sure about anything you're considering purchasing-ask questions. Someone will clearly explain so there are no surprises when you check out.

This is my second time here now and although my first experience was not bad, my server just seemed disinterested. But a nice young lady came over and took care of us. The flavors are on point and you definitely get a ton of food. It is market prices but u gotta live every once in awhile. This is our second time and the nice young lady mentioned before served us tonight and her name is Chen and she is the best. My garlic butter medium snow crab legs were perfect and my boyfriend la Cajun hot was DELICIOUS. thanks Chen! If a manager is reading this she deserves a raise! Will be back

Stopped here while out of town for a concert in Cincinnati. Was not disappointed! I had not been to a Storming Crab since moving to Ohio. The seafood bread is delicious and would highly recommend. We always order extra. Never been disappointed by anything on the menu. Staff was very friendly as well!

My husband and I visited this restaurant today and it was so awesome. Waitress name was Amy and fantastic! Quick with service, was very attentive but didn't hover.

Very kind made sure we had everything we needed! Restaurant is very decorative.

Worth the money you spend!

There was such a large variety of seafood to choose from from little baby shrimps to monstrous sized king crab legs. I got a large bag filled to the brim with fresh sea creatures drowning in delicious red cajun sauce that sent tingles into in to my nostrils just from the smell. As I finished my food, the taste of the ocean lingered on my tongue perfectly paired with the aftertaste of the salty, sweet, and spicy seasoning. This was one of the best seafood places I have ever been to. Our waiter was super nice and the prices seemed reasonable. I can't wait to visit this restaurant again.

Really great place. Paris our server was amazing. He was very attentive and accommodating. He made our first experience a spectator one. Surely we will return. All of our food choices where incredible.

This was the first time going here went to hang out with some co-workers. After looking at the pictures of the food it kinda reminded me of Joe's crab shack, now that they closed down we thought we'd give them a try as we always loved joes. We were pleasantly surprised great food (better than joes) kinda surprised it wasn't busy during Saturday dinner rush. Definitely will recommend to friends and family we will definitely come back!

We went here to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We had a great time. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. My daughter also got to sign her name on the wall.

Absolutely love this place..the food, the service and the atmosphere. Have eaten here many times and always loved my boil #6 just went again for my birthday the other day and took my family for there first time and they are hooked and ready to come back again!!!!

Seafood bread was so freaking good. I really enjoyed the vibe and customer service that me and my family received. I would go there again just for the size of the crab legs and the garlic butter flavored boil. This place can't get any better!

This is a very amazing restaurant with very attentive servers and host. Felt very comfortable.. the food is amazing and the price is excellent! Left with a bag to take home and enjoy later. I will definitely be back!

Pleasantly pleased to have this gem in the neighborhood. Delicious and fun. Julie was a fantastic attentive server and did an excellent job of showing us how to crack open our crawfish 🦞 10/10 would recommend. Can’t wait to come back.
