Whetstone Park Gazebo

Quiet open space with many trails veering into the woods, sadly I visited in early April before the weather warmed up for flowers to begin blooming so I missed out on the beauty of the vegetation, However; I was still able to partake in the beautiful scenery and ambiance. The park provided bags for pet owners that could be found throughout the grounds. Much of the vegetation had plaques to identify what it was you were observing. Plenty of seats to be found for those who wish to sit and enjoy the surroundings.

So nice there, I love visiting! The only thing is the flowers looked cooked by the sun. I won't ever not suggest this place to people!

One of the best and most beautiful places to walk dogs or people. The park of roses is amazing in late spring early summer and all throughout the growing season. Very to rain includes Prairie riverside trails and a ravine trail.

I had the best time at the Park of Roses. I didn't see any roses but i did see lots of deer, which was lovely. Also, I've never been big into sports, but their baseball facilities are top notch. I highly recommend spending time in the sturdy well-built dugouts. Even though it was baseball, I sure got pounded. I'll be feeling this trip for days - and smiling like the Cheshire cat. 😈

Lovely park missed most of the roses. They hv so many
other fixtures & always something blooming you can always get a few good shots. Walking stones at entrance caught my eye because I saw BishopHartley listed.

Love this park!! It is beautiful in any season but right now with all the roses blooming its simply amazing!! There is also an herb garden which is nice..they have it divided into sections for the different herbs like edibles and medicinal and many others. My dogs love this park and have made some doggie pals here. We have been coming to this Whetstone Park for years and years and never tire of it. The bike trails go through here and can take you downtown or to Worthington depending on the direction you go. Nice big fields for the dogs to run around in too!

Nice little gazebo. Wish there was a concert when I visited, since that would’ve been a perfect area for one!

Nice gazebo. Rarely used. Part of Park of Roses at Whetstone. Summer readings for kids follow a scheduled plan performed by the Columbus Public Library. Check for activities at Library or P.O.R. volunteer center. Go online or call, for listings.
