Franklin Spa

My family and I vacation in Newport, Rhode Island each year. We enjoy breakfasts together during our trips and so we have tried several restaurants in the past, including the Franklin Spa. During our our visit this past week we noticed that the menu was different and there was a different vibe to the location. My suspicions were correct as we met Nick and Brittany, the new proprietors!! The food was great, lots of options and at a fair price. We enjoyed our breakfast so much that we returned the following morning to enjoy our last breakfast before returning to Philadelphia. If you are in Newport and in search of a place for Breakfast, I highly recommend the Franklin Spa. We look forward to returning in the future.

The only breakfast place to visit in Newport. If there is a queue for a table, it is well worth a wait!
The friendliest staff, very relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
The menu has a great range to suit everyone, French Toast, Mexicali Benedict, omelletes - we've tried lots and everything has been delicous and good value for money.
Thanks Nick, Christian and Britney for always being so welcoming, Franklin Spa became our weekend ritual.

THRILLED we found this place! Family with 2 kids (7yrs old twins). All the food was fresh and delicious! They went above and beyond in every aspect - and that goes a long way when dining with kids! : )
We had to grab our smoothie blends to go (heading to PC basketball game) and they even sent us home with coffee (bottomless) to go! Our new breakfast spot in Newport!

We were visiting Newport and our hotel recommended The Franklin Spa ! Absolutely best breakfast we had . Our waitress Abby was amazing and gave good service . She recommended the cinnamon roll which was quite delicious! Would go back again

Get in early. Newport is tough to get a early breakfast out. I had the hash omelette so much flavor. So good. Bring your patience they cook to order, which of course has its benefits. We returned again in 2023..

I wish we found this place earlier in our trip. We would have went to breakfast everyday here. I don't know if its Newports best kept secret, but I'm here to ruin that! GO TO FRANKLIN SPA! Great diner setting, great menu, great food. The Crab Cakes Benedict was the best I've ever had, and the chorizo omelette was packed with flavor. Don't forget to get a side of hash, we like our CRISPY! 11/10

Owner Nick very personable and accommodating. Fantastic service and food at a great price! Ate there both mornings we were here.

This is the local spot with a line out front. Nice people and great atmosphere. Typical menu of eggs benedict and omelets and other items as well as a list of specials.

My family has been going here for breakfast for many years and it's a top pick, in my opinion. If you like corn beef hash, try the Crow's Nest benedict.

My favorite breakfast spot on the island. New ownership is amazing, staff is friendly, attentive, and the food is great every time.

New owners Brittany and Nick have done an amazing job! We came here with our crew before sailing out of newport and it will be our new tradition. The specials for fall were delicious. Pumpkin french toast was just the right amount of sweet. Azorean sandwich with some hollandaise on the side was as good as it was filling.
