Miyako Japanese Restaurant

The food was good. The service was needing improvement. The guy that was our waiter was just playing on his phone or talking to the girl that works there. Our drinks needed filling and we literally needed to wavy him down several times. And took him forever to give us our check after we were done.

So delicious! I got 'the holiday' and it was delightful!!! The spread is nice, and I think the prices is very fair. We got the local sake, unfiltered and yummie, it is sweet and creamy! Been before, we will be back!

Food was exceptional, fresh fish, good sake selections, fast service, and the owners are very friendly, I would recommend to anyone.

Absolutely delicious sushi! The owner, "Eddie" is a truly joyful person who also makes some of the best I've had! Do yourself a favor and sit at the bar if you can, to get pole position to see Eddie working at his craft and also enjoy a conversation with him and his wonderful personality. Make sure you read the newspaper article about him hung above the chairs on the wall on your left as you enter. A tremendous 🍣 sushi experience!

Been going here for years, great atmosphere and amazing food. May feel a little pricey but always worth it, never had a bad meal

For a variety of reasons, I must remark that Miyako’s in Hollister, California is an outstanding restaurant.
Personally, with my experience with this restaurant, I’d say that the service is great. For one, the waiters at Miyako’s are exceptional, especially when it comes down to hospitality. Secondly, the waiters at Miyako’s are patient with the customers (from what I could see…). Third, the waiters do a great job with inquiring the customers on the state of request.
Next, the food is revolutionary. It’s just good. No details required.
Third and lastly, the restaurant emits a friendly environment. The music, the television, and the hospitable beings are all exceptional components of greatness.
In summary, this restaurant is a revolutionary product in Hollister and generally speaking from environment, to food, and to waiters, this place is legendary and will always hold a spot in my heart❣What an amazing place! How do you feel about Miyako’s?

Service isn't the fastest but completely worth the wait. Super friendly staff who want to learn everyone's name. If they have Toro get it. Sushi bar casual enough for just off work. Elevated seating area super nice. Could be great a date impression or celebration spot or just casual. Plan to return!

We love eating there, their fresh oysters on the half shell are divine. Baked mussels are great too, as is the fresh scallops and fatty tuna. Staff is Lind and helpful and it's always super clean.

We just moved to the area and are so happy to have found this restaurant. Food was delicious, friendly staff and quick service. We will be back!
