When I decided it was time to dip into the waters of home ownership, I felt uncertain in how to start. Then I met Rachael at an open house in Des Moines. We conversed about the area, her love for swimming, and how I choked on a watermelon Jolly Rancher at Angle Lake as a child. The next day, Rachael called to ask if I was interested in meeting to talk. I was hesitant but said yes, and am so very glad I did. We met at a coffee shop and by the end of our chat, I knew she was the realtor for me. Nearly 3 months later, we celebrated my first home purchase over champagne and...wait for it...watermelon Jolly Ranchers. She remembered everything from our first conversation! Throughout the ups and downs of my first home inspection (a dud because not all realtors are as honest as Rachael) to submitting offers and the excitement of mutual acceptance, she kept me motivated and optimistic. She also held me accountable to my list of "must haves" when I let myself get distracted by frustration with how long the process takes (I can be impatient). A nice way to sum up Rachael is by calling her chosen family :-)

Rachael, I cant thank you enough for everything you have done for my family and I. Your team has been there for me every step of the way with every question and every obstacle that occurred during the selling of our home. Although we’re glad it’s over I will definitely miss you guys. You’ve remained very professional and poised the entire time even at times it was stressful for us all. First time buyer here. Rachael was such a delight. Not pushy. Listened to my wants and needs and then bent over backwards to meet them. Excellent customer service. We had lots of complications and set backs, but she went to bat for us every time. 10/10

We met Rachel at an open house for the condo we purchased. Because our realtor wasn't licensed to the state of WA Rachel ended up representing us. The sale was easy. No issues.

I really wanted to work with Rachael, but it just didn't work out. Not to knock off her character, because she's a grand person, you know. We got it off with a lot of commonalities, it's what drew me to her. However as a realtor it just didn't translate.
I had to initiate her sending me properties, even the account to look up properties. I felt I wasn't worth her time, maybe because I asked that we keep the buyers agreement for a year, I don't know. I lost a desired property because of lack of communication, and that's important no matter how many clients are taken up.
