Stumbled on this restaurant after attending services at Arlington. Excellent service, hot delicious food that came out so quickly. Friendly server Jack and thr owner were very attentive. Definitely recommended for anyone wanting to enjoy their meal. Scotch eggs yummy, fish and chips yummy! Iced Irish coffee so good.

We were passing through Washington DC from North Carolina and decided to stop by a pub, drink beer and try Irish food.
Everything was fast and perfect. The waitress was friendly, took our order quickly and was very friendly in answering our questions.
The food was brought very quickly, I didn’t want to look at the clock and check the time. The food is hot, the meat is cooked to perfection, and the portions are very large. Beer and cocktails were also excellent.
I'm sure that if I'm in those parts again, I'll definitely come here again.

We were visiting the area in December and our family took us there because they knew we like it last time.

The place was homey and to boot there was a Celtic Session going on, which provided a great background to an Irish Bar.

Our waitress was friendly and brought us delicious food from the kitchen.

What do you do when you get home from a road trip to find out a storm came through and your home as well as most of Columbia Pike has no electricity? You go find a pub to chill out and have a beer with dinner. The Celtic House had electricity and I have passed by the pub many times over the years saying I should stop sometime for a bite to eat. Well, Saturday night was the night. The pub was busy due to the fact they were one of the only places with electricity on Columbia Pike; however, the staff was prompt to show us a table when we came in and take our drink order. We ordered a couple beers, Irish egg rolls, fish and chips, and Guinness beef stew. Everything tasted great. The atmosphere was great for hanging out, watching sports, or just chatting. We would definitely comeback. Thanks for the opportunity to relax and eat during the summer storm aftermath!

Fantastic local Irish Pub. Everything you’d want. Great specials, even better staff. Disappointed I didn’t find this place sooner.

The lamb stew was INCREDIBLE. Guinness was great. My first visit. Absolutely recommend this establishment. Hard to gauge the atmosphere on a cold Tuesday night, but the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I will return!!!

Our family was traveling to DC to visit for a few days. Thankfully, the first night we stopped in for an early dinner and were BLOWN AWAY! They quickly sat the 6 of us and we ordered appetizers. The Irish Egg Rolls and Scotch Eggs are AMAZING! The amazing experience didn't stop there either, dinner was just as good! So good that for the next 2 nights we kept going back. We would catch ourselves throughout the day asking one another what they were going to get for dinner that night. Between my wife and I and our kids we put a huge dent in the menu, ordering just about everything. The only disappointment was realizing we're 6 hours away. We can't wait to go back!

This is one of my favorite places. We always bring visitors from out of town to eat here. I've never had a bad dish here, but the Irish stew and shepherds pie are top tier.

If you haven't eaten here yet, you MUST!

I’m so excited I got to go here! The food was amazing. I got some wings with bourbon bbq sauce and they were absolutely amazing. All of the food and drinks were 10/10. The inside of the restaurant was beautiful.

WOW! This has got to be one of the best pubs I've ever been to. We had the Bangers & Mash and the Chicken Pot Pie. Both were perfect in every way. Our server, Daragh, provided great service as well.

In addition to a large menu with lots of options they have a great selection of draft and canned beer, as well as a huge whiskey list including some harder to find options.

We'll definitely be back!

**UPDATE**

We came back a few months later on a Saturday night and they had a great live band playing. All of the food was as excellent as before, as was the service. Still a 10/10 recommend

Stopped here for lunch during a trip to the dc area. We sat outside which is just in the front but they have made it comfy and cute. Server had an irish accent. Our drinks were generously poured and our food was quick and delicious. I had the lamb burger he had the Irish reuben. Server was helpful when I needed assistance choosing. Prices were reasonable for an authentic irish pub

I went to The Celtic Irish Pub with a group of lovely coworkers only to be surprised by the warm and kind customer service from the owner, the waitress, Katie (sorry if I didn't remember her name correctly), buser, and hostess. The bread pudding is a traditional recipe and to die for! I will certainly return.

A wonderful Irish pub and restaurant. Good food and great service. My wife really enjoyed the Irish Coffee. In fact she enjoyed it twice. She says it reminds her of The Red Fox Inn in Quaybaun, Co. Kerry, Ireland. This is where she had her first real Irish coffee. She also enjoyed the beef and Guinness stew. She ate it many times during our trips to Ireland and it always reminds her those trips. It's always been one of her favorites. I enjoyed the full Irish Breakfast. It's hard to find a good full Irish around here and this one is definitely at the top of the list. If it's on the menu I'm usually ordering it. I almost forgot the Irish egg rolls. Corned Beef, Sauerkraut & Swiss Cheese in an egg roll served hot with a choice of mustard . A novel way to have a bite-sized Reuben.
