Alaska Whale Watch

The vessel was very comfortable, had great views from the inside cabin and outside on the bow and rear. Captain John got us on the whales very quickly. He positioned us for great views but, most importantly, was mindful of the whales and their safety. His mate Rico was great. He gave great info about the various wildlife we encountered. I lost count after 10 humpback whales and 6 sea lions. They also provided a very nice snack and coffee/ tea/ hot chocolate, all included. I highly recommend this tour!

The whole trip was fantastic. The trio crews were very friendly. Our guide Ricardo is very knowledgeable and gave us many interesting whale facts. Captain John was nice and took us to an area close to a small island where we saw a baby whale along with some sea lions 🦭. They also provided snacks. We had a great time whale watching.

Keryl and Rio were so personable and fun and very informative of not only the animals, but of the area as well. The snacks provided were more than expected and yummy! Saw several humpbacks as well as sea lions and eagles! The enclosed ride was perfect also for the chilly Alaskan weather. Highly recommend doing this tour! You will not be disappointed!!

Going to watch whales with the dolphin jet boat tours is an amazing experience. We saw so many whales including orcas and humpback whales. Our director, Rico was nice and good at teaching us all about whales. Our captain, John, got us close to the whales; it was amazing to watch them jump in and out of the water. I would definitely recommend the dolphin jet boat tours.😄

John and Ricardo with Dolphin Jet Boat Tours were amazing people. They were knowledgeable and hilarious! We got to see multiple whales. We seen a Momma and baby whale aka Flame and Sizzle! That was a life changing experience to see those beautiful creatures. I would strongly recommend these guys. Thank you John and Ricardo!

Had a great time!! Our entire family (11) booked this tour outside of the cruise ship. Dolphin Jet Boat Tours was the name on the business card they gave us after the tour.

As for the cruise and timing, they were very aware of our cruise ship's schedule. They knew our time in port had been changed and made adjustments to the tour and bus route to ensure we made our ship in plenty of time. More importantly, they told us right away that they had it under control and would have us back on time. That allowed us to relax and pay attention to the scenery and tour.

Our guides; bus - Greg, boat captain - Jim, naturalist - Abbey, were all very knowledgable and pleasant to chat with, They made learning about the area entertaining and informative.

We did not know what to expect and we were pleasantly surprised to find reliable, clean accommodations and friendly staff that seemed genuinely pleased to do their job. We would certainly recommend this group.

Rio, Rico, & John absolutely crushed this tour for us. Super friendly, funny, passionate & knowledgeable. Connor was also great driving the van.

This was such an amazing tour! Rico and Captain John killed it! We saw orcas and a humpback and got tons of pics. These two were so funny and knowledgeable and the tour was reasonable in price. It was much better than the cruise excursion!

Your was amazing, we saw lots of whales. Rio and Kaeryl were wonderful throughout the tour and were very knowledgeable, however Captain John was quite rude to one of the newer employees during the tour and was not personable with the guests. It made for a slightly hostile environment, but overall everyone else was delightful and the trip itself was amazing!

Captain John, Rio, and Rio were the best team. Captain John is a very skilled Captain, and Rio and Rico kept up a running commentary on whale and orca (yes, we saw two pods of orcas!) anatomy, mating and feeding behavior. We had a wonderful time, and the time and money spent was well worth it.

Such a great crew, strong boat and all the above are amazing at what they do!
We saw Humpbacks within our first few minutes out of the harbour and it only got better from there.
The seals are adorable and the whales were majestic!
And the authentic experience was much more personal than huge tour boats. A MUST! its worth every penny and more.

Wonderful Guides and tour! The guides were Knowledgeable and great with our large group with a lot of kids! We saw amazing whales feeding. They company really went above and beyond for us. Would highly recommend them.Would love to come and do it again with them too!

This is THE whale watching tour to go on! We had two naturalists on board to tell us all about the whales, their feeding habits and migration patterns. We saw dozens of humpback whales and seals. The highlight was definitely watching the humpbacks cooperatively feeding in a large group. Incredible! Best thing to do in Juneau!

Ricardo and Captain John were amazing and hilarious people to ride along with on the Boat to see the whales. I would definitely go again just to have them on the ride

What an excursion 10/10 started off great from pick up with lisa with great knowledge of juneau and a really nice person. Then getting on the boat with captain tom aka the modern day jack sparrow and his deck hand will. Both men were brilliant at there jobs and found everthing possible in the sea from a group of atleast 10 orcas that got atleast 15 feet away from the boat to every humpback whale and seal in the pacific ocean honestly it was none stop action. Book with this company it was well run from start to finish. Brilliant
