Great local dive bar. There's no table service anymore but bartenders are friendly and helpful. Karaoke night on Friday and Saturday is always fun. If you arrive on the early side there's not many people signed to sing which can be a fun opportunity. Customers always seem pretty chill and friendly too.

A really truly enjoyable dive bar.
Great customer server, great food, plenty of TVs with sports playing for all types of viewers, good prices, and a stacked bar.
Will definitely be coming back again.

We were visiting from Houston and needed a place to grab a quick bite to eat. LA was down the street from the hotel. It is easily accessible from the metro line. Upon walking in I was a little skeptical because I don’t really eat at too many dove bars and that’s what it reminded me of…a neighborhood dive bar. However, I am sooooo glad I gave them a chance. I created my own burger and it was one of the best burgers I’ve had. It was char broiled and was seasoned very well. Their onion rings are homemade and delicious. The service is A+. It was only the bartender tending the bar and coming from behind the bar to wait on us. If you’re in the Arlington area you have to go check them out. They also have karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights!

Edit: I ordered off of Uber eats, and in all fairness, the website describes them as shoestring onions. Uber eats doesn't have a good description of them, so that's easily a reason why I didn't expect them to be onion straws. Oh well, I still enjoyed the food I ordered!

Previous review: In terms of food quality, this is a great late night food option. My only criticism is that I felt that the onion rings were not as described. I thought I would get traditional onion rings but got onion straws instead.

I love coming here on Friday and Saturday nights, especially for the karaoke. Lots of locals obviously cherish this place and have a community here, which is great to witness. If you are coming through and are new, don’t be shy to order a drink and participate in one of the events (like karaoke). If you are respectful of other patrons and the staff, you are guaranteed a chill and fun night. No one here is trying to be anything other than themselves; everyone wants to have a great time. And hey, the late night snacks are great! I love some nice chicken tenders.

Great place for karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights from 8pm to 1am (bar closes at 2am)! I have been here dozens of times for several years and the food is consistently good. Great craft beers. Nice, dive bar atmosphere. Great service! Free parking and Anne client spot for late night food. Kitchen closes around 1am.

I am from Houston TX, and just happened to luckily stumble across this bar while waiting on my fight to fly home. I was greeted by bartender Rusell who was exceptional and very welcoming. I highly recommend this bar and grill. The food was awesome and again the service was impeccable. As a bar owner myself I wish I could steal the staff and take.them to Houston. Friendly and great atmosphere. Look foward to my return.

I absolutely love this bar! It’s such a family friendly spot, great food and the staff (Russ,Nick,Joel,Maddie) goes above and beyond to make sure you’re taken care of, highly recommended

This is your neighborhood bar that has a good tap selection, karaoke on the weekends and amazing food. They make everything from scratch! Taco Tuesday, Burger Wednesdays, and one night they have their pizza on special. Everything we've eaten from LA Bar has been delicious. Our go to menu items are the jalapeño poppers (they're huge!), Caesar salad (best Caesar dressing I've ever had), the Brussel sprouts (fried and served with balsamic and feta) and pizza. A friend of ours opts for their burgers every time he goes. Drink prices are good as well.

We had a blast at LA! I called ahead and Russell, the bartender, was so friendly! We went in as a group of 6 to sing karaoke. Russell was extremely accommodating and set up a table for our group. I didn’t catch the name of the other staff members, but they were wonderful too. Many of them sang karaoke at one point, and were fantastic. Great drinks and very quick food service. It’s a really welcoming, fun environment and I can’t wait to go back!

The closet you get to a "dive" bar in Arlington. Great drink prices and food. You can have a great time with just your friends or if it gets packed.

Had a great night last night! Disturbingly good food for a bar, prolly the best on Columbia. Fast bar service, and good karaoke! Honestly Russell is the best Bartender I've experienced. Suggested great drink orders and made sure I got a great burger pick!

Love this place! Nicest dive bar I've ever been to. Excellent, friendly service, delicious food, and a super chill atmosphere. We went on Wednesday for half price burgers, and my LA Woman burger was amazing! Cooked perfectly. Very unpretentious, local bar feel... We'll definitely be back!
