Red Roof Inn & Suites Medford - Airport

My partner and I had a great experience while staying at this motel here in Medford. The staff was friendly as we felt welcomed. Great location and quiet. The rooms are decent size, clean, updated floors and furniture, bed was comfortable, great selection of TV channels to choose from. The breakfast is great I thought as I love biscuits and gravy, toast, bagels, hard boiled eggs, oranges, apples, yogurt, waffles as they had quite the assortment to choose from.

This place is such an amazing place ! I will always choose to stay here whenever I need a place to stay. They are 100% pet friendly which is very hard to find anywhere. The rooms are amazing. And the free breakfast SLAPS. but get there early before truckers take all the gravy biscuits !!! Or you will have to rage like I did ! But other then that (which obviously I can't rate that MESSED UP SITUATION on behalf of the hotel. I guess it wasn't their fault. ) BUT THEY COULDVE PUT MORE BISCUITS OUT CONSIDERING THE AMOUNT OF GUESTS AND Biscuit AND GRAVY RATIO. If I had to give one form of advice it would be to stock up on more biscuits and gravy when there are truckers loitering around the gravy croc pot ready pounce. Let's just say they are lucky I didn't get there first.

First off, I am not saying this is equivalent to a 5 star hotel, but for a 2-star, it is excellent, more like 2.5. The room looked newly renovated and the bed was comfortable. The room had everything I needed including a fridge and microwave. I was pleasantly surprised that they include free breakfast with two different eagles makers! The front desk staff and housekeeping were very friendly. To top it off my cat stayed free! Great, great value for the money.

We chose this hotel based on proximity to airport (3 minutes straight shot) so my expectations were very low; however, the rooms were clean, spacious, and did not smell of cigarettes (read that in another review,) the shower's water pressure was firm, beds comfortable, working a/c, and they hade a good sized microwave and mini-fridge. Shop-worn with appropriate upgrades.
The parking lot was smaller than I expected and I had some 20point turns in our rented vehicle - a normal sized auto, or different driver, would have zero problems in parking lot.
Also read some reviews about "shady characters" around hotel and while I'm sorry for their experience our party never felt unsafe at the hotel or in the parking lot.

My favorite hotel, the front desk manager Hawthorn is so helpful and welcoming, I’ve never felt more at home away from home. Great breakfast, convenient location.

Hawthorne at the front desk was a joy to interact with and he was very responsive when we idiotically thought the shower wasn't draining when really it was just our own user error. Clean spot for the price and no dog fee really helps!

Hawthorne is the best. Goes out of his way to make sure your happy with everything provided.

The room was very clean!!!!! The breakfast served was the best this whole trip. Waffles, biscuits & gravy, fresh fruit and good muffins and bagels. Very pet friendly!! The young man at the check-in desk was absolutely great, friendly and professional.

It is a very calm and family oriented atmosphere. Very friendly and most of the time some one somewhere is laughing and having a good time. I really liked the way they are with pets. My malamute is vary friendly but is a rescue so there are times that he is a handful. I let everyone around us know that sometimes he can be a poohead and the staff and residents all assured me that as long as I had it under control that we were ok. The rooms are always clean and so is the lobby and halls. I had a really good time during my stay . I am born and raised here in Oregon and it is hard to find a motel that will except an in stater. And if they do they are very jugemental. So thank you RED ROOF INN. And hopefully I will be visiting again soon and many more times in the future. I appreciate what you and your staff do to be able to have a very welcoming and injoyable stay.

Had to have room key reprogrammed 5 times in 2 days. Got angry phone call to vacate room only 5 mins past checkout. I'm permanently disabled and require more time than most. We were on a bereavement trip. My kids mom died, unexpectedly, at age 59. Continental breakfast 6 to 9am. Nothing but problems with key cards , both.

I am writing this review for the staff who accommodated me and my family last night, March 26, 2022. We got 2 rooms for the family of 8. Not sure if I got his name right, Hawthorn, with the aquamarine hair. He was very accommodating, helped us as much as he can. Very very great individual. Please keep up the good work. You’re so awesome. I am giving a 5 star for the staff I mentioned only.
We were satisfied with the room thought the coffee maker wasn’t working but no big deal.
Before we checked out this morning, checked their continental breakfast. The morning staff put 6 Jimmy Dean egg, sausage and cheese muffin in the cooler so we asked for 2 more. We got it thank you.
The only thing that bothered me was this lady who came down and asked if breakfast is over. I told her not til 9am. And this sweet lady said she doesn’t speak English. I tried my best to explained to her she needs to ask for the biscuit. But she wasn’t understanding what I was saying. At this time the guy at the front desk was talking with 2 women. Looks like they’re staffs too. My question is? Was it right to get up from whatever this guy was doing and shut the door instead of whatever you’re doing to stop and get her the biscuit? It won’t take 60 Seconds to do so. That’s all.

The manager is AWESOME! Clean breakfast area. Parking lot is a bit snug, otherwise nice place

Pretty average room. Hawthorne at the front desk was super friendly & helpful. Would definitely stay here again when traveling. Also love that they are dog friendly!

Reasonably priced, clean rooms, pet friendly, decent breakfast and importantly- HONEST workers! My son realized almost 3 hours after we'd checked out that he left his Nintendo Switch in the room. I was certain it was gone forever, but they found and held onto it until I could get back to pick it up. Great staff! Will stay there again if I'm traveling through Medford.

On my drive to Seattle, we stayed at this location. The front desk was very helpful and quick to help us out. The rooms were very big and clean for the price, which was very good deal. The staff was very friendly next morning while the breakfast was set up. We had to leave a little early and they made sure we got mostly all the things they had before time.

The property looked very new, nicely maintained and recently renovated. The quality of the rooms and the friendly staff was the key take away.

They have a well oiled machine. The owner is a good businessman. He spends a lot of time and money upgrading this place for his guests. He speaks kindly and professionally. Pets are allowed and that is cool. The maids are helpful and always in a good mood. The maintenance guy is awesome. Everybody keeps to themselves and minds their own which is a good thing because staying in a hotel for fun or life is not tolerable when you have people breathing down your neck. The rooms are clean and stocked with what you need. There is a vending machine for snacks and drinks. I think they are building something else but I am not sure what. This place should always be full.

They have always taken great care of me since I stayed there through access. ...And the employees are always nice as well, however while sitting in the parking lot in my vehicle with it turned off, some woman proceeded to open my door and try to get into my car not knowing that I was sitting there! So I believe she was trying to steal things out of cars in the parking lot and was clearly a junkie so needless to say if you stay here watch your stuff in the parking lot lock your doors LOL

Cristina met me at the front office with a huge smile and super pleasant attitude. Reminded me of customer service that we hope for and often dont see. She helped me with the rates, room selection, local info, and making me feel like I was someone important. The rooms and amenities are great. Easy to get anywhere from here. I've become a fan of Red Roof.

I drove up from Los Angeles to visit my son and was impressed. The staff was awesome and anticipated everything I could ask. The breakfast was more than enough, and delicious. From our check-in with Christina to the night clerk, Trisha, everyone was dedicated to me enjoying my visit. I'd especially like to mention Alana from housekeeping and Bostan from maintenance. They went far above what I could have ever expected. I had never stayed at a Red Roof Inn before, but you've found a customer for life.

The long haired blonde woman, I haven't caught her name, is one of the sweetest and kindest people I've ever met. Give this girl a raise or a promotion she truly deserves it! Room is clean and has everything you'll need clean sheets, hot water, ac/heat, tv etc very nice for the price. Most importantly I didnt feel unsafe.
