Black Bird

This is where I started curing meats, and brewing beer. They have an excellent hunting section, & fishing.

They have a pretty big RV section, and then pretty much all the the mild stuff a lot of home stuff, screen door repair.

They have some plumbing stuff and electrical basics, I would definitely check the website before you go. They have a lot more than you would expect. Enjoy

I’ve lived in this area for 40 some years now. Black Bird has always been a reliable and fair-priced place to find nearly everything we need for life in the mountains. Including the best pair of racing ski boots ever! The staff is really great too!!

Great variety of items. I went there to get screws for building platform beds and they have decent priced bins of all different sizes. I love going in there, takes me back to my childhood when my brother and I would want to go there just to see the bird.

This is the best store for all needs. Whenever I visit the Medford area, I make it a habit to stop in here for my purchases. They sell everything there. They sell outdoor clothing, ammunition, fishing supplies, hardware, automotive related, candy, toys, etc. They even have a really cool bird in there. The staff is always so friendly and knowledgeable. Look forward to seeing them again the next time I drive to the area.

Love coming to Black Bird. Came in today and was looking for some paint that they didnt have on the shelf. Jim, one of their employees came up and asked if we needed help. Told him what we wanted and he ran to the back to look in overstock and brought us 4 cans of what we needed that we thought theyd sold out of. It was awesome and made my night. He definitely went above and beyond to help us and we really appreciated it. Thank you Jim!

Our first time to blackbird was an amazing experience. The staff was very helpful in every department. They have a great selection of basically everything you could imagine.
My favorite part is the trained birds that talk to you.
All that to say, I will be back to shop, And will recommend to all of my friends and family.

Every one of the people who work there are polite , kind & helpful. The business seems quirky when I went in for the first time; but I began looking around and found so many items I wasn't expecting to find. Clothing, kitchen items, camping, as well as all the Ace hardware items you would expect to find. Give yourself time to browse. It's interesting! Oh, say hello to the real blackbirds too!

Love the store they have a ton of items and all of seem to be at a decent price...great selection of guns...fishing gear and pretty much anything you can think of. Helpful and knowledgeable staff

A true Medford icon. Gotta love Blackbird. I was in there maybe 20 minutes, and 3 different employees asked if I was doing alright or if I needed any help with anything. I live a few blocks from a "big box" store, and you just don't get customer service like that. Plus, I didn't have to do a self checkout. You actually have cashiers. What a concept. Well worth driving across town.

Went in here to rent a snowboard set up for the day. Was not aware that it was an Ace Hardware and a Cabela’s rolled into one. This place literally has anything you could ever want for the outdoors. The staff was super friendly and got me hooked up with my rentals within minutes. Told me some of the local tips on where to go for fresh pow. Highly recommend this place!

The person that helped was one of the nicest guys ever. Helped with a smile and knew where everything was and helped pick out all the things we needed. I can't recommend this store enough.

Annie went above and beyond while helping us replace a lost boat title with the Oregon Marine Board. She was very nice, humorous and extremely helpful. She is exactly what you would want in customer service. It's hard to find people like that these days. Thank you Annie.
