We stopped in to Caribou Crossings while in Juneau last week. What a beautiful shop! It’s a local, family-owned store with unique artwork and souvenirs. Definitely a breath of fresh air for all the other shops that seemed to have the same mass produced merch.

One of the employees spent a long time with us, showing us pieces and sharing information on the artist, history, etc. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

We left with a beautiful whale and a few smaller souvenirs for our children.

The only downside is that they don’t have a website (understandably so), because I’d love to shop there again! 😊

Great local shop in Juneau that we visited during our cruise time in this beautiful port! I will highly recommend anyone I know visiting Juneau to stop in and have a look around. Everyone was so nice and I got some unique keepsakes to bring home, including a fun 2024 ornament for my daughter.

What a wonderful true Alaskan store, full of local goodies!! Real local culture and artist gifts and collectibles. They were about to close when we walked up, and the adorable girls (Ava and Nakaiya) said, no hurry, please, come in!! They explained about the different products offered and I found the perfect gifts (for myself 😊) We travel to Alaska annually and looking forward to getting back there!

Probably my favorite shop in downtown Juneau! It’s locally owned and the crafts and artwork are authentic and made by local artists. The lady that helped us was super nice and the souvenirs are amazing! Would absolutely recommend checking out if you’re visiting Juneau.

Great store with Alaska made gifts and items. I always love to shop small and local when possible, and I found this to be my favorite shop on the strip.

The staff were all lovely and helpful.

I picked up some soaps, wildflower seeds, and earrings.

Friendly service and a lovely supply of Alaskan artisan products. I picked up a pair of earrings with beautiful sand and sediment from the Mendenhall glacier. I think my friend will love them. A nice gift or keepsake.

You're going to want to shop here for a locally owned experience. This little boutique employs Alaskans and features art, jewelry & handcrafts made by Alaskans. Prices on special art & souvenirs ranges from small trinkets for less than $20 to amazing artwork & artisan jewelry in the $ hundreds and beyond. (& well worth it for the quality & authentic non-factory produced keepsake.) Can't recommend enough that you stop in & see for yourself.

We were buying exclusive Lisa McCormick jewelry & had the absolute BEST experience with staff member Lourdes. Hope you're lucky enough to meet her on your trip!

After a long two years of covid my wife and I finally got to go on our first trip to Juneau! We stopped into this store and we’re greeted with the sweetest most caring person We’ve ever met. I wish I got her name but she was a bright eyed young Asian woman with the best personality. My wife got some jewelry that was very unique and hand made. We just got home and already miss the little town so much. Going to Juneau was the highlight of our trip.

Came specifically to this store looking for a locally owned shop with locally made gifts. The store was perfect with an amazing selection. The best part was the lady working the day I was there was honest and very helpful in helping find the perfect gift for my daughter. She was fantastic and so positive/ friendly. It was a great experience.

Everyone here was so warm & friendly! My family and I visited this store while in port during a cruise. It had been a long day for our hungry and cranky 7 year old daughter. The ladies here took time to talk to her and turned her attitude around and had her laughing in no time! She received a beautiful necklace that she has been attached to ever since. They have a very beautiful and diverse selection of jewelry from local artisans as well, I ended up with unique porcupine quill earrings. My husband wanted a totem pole while on our trip and picked out a replica at this store. While they were more than willing to sell him whatever he picked, we were helped to appreciate the value and workmanship of purchasing an authentic totem pole from local artists. We ended up leaving to go grab a bite to eat and returned later. They remembered us and even remembered the authentic totem my husband was drawn to. We are very happy with the one we ended up bringing home, it is beautiful and has meaning behind it. All of the ladies here were so friendly and helpful. The store had a family-like feel and made us wish we lived closer in order to be able to visit again. Thank you so much for being a memorable stop on our wonderful trip!

I visited this wonderful store in May of 2009 and had such a wonderful experience I couldn't wait to come back! I purchased a gift for my best friend that she loved and she is still wearing. I said if I ever get the opportunity to take another Alaskan Cruise I would make a point to come back. I did just that May 2018. I was so excited to see Caribou Crossings still there!!! Thank you so much for such a memorable experience and that you handle only Alaskan Made and you support local artist! Excellent Customer Service!

Best regards,
Lyn Sawyer

Great place to shop.
We have cruised into Juneau but stayed at an airbnb there several years in the past.

Caribou Crossing is a great store and has wonderful items for sale.
Due to COVID, we haven't traveled to Juneau lately. We discovered the Alaskan Box from which is tied to Caribou Crossing.
We look forward to our quarterly Alaskan Box with it Alaskan things. It is worth the cost.

If cruising, make Caribou Crossing your first stop.

My husband and I were there on my birthday to purchase a gift. I was so intrigued by the jewelry that I purchased 2 necklaces instead of the one. The customer service was five star. The lady that sold us our choices was at the table next to us at dinner the night before at Tracey's Crabs ( what a treat). She was so sweet and helpful, I have already recommended this store to our family who are headed to Alaska in July.
Love my new necklaces they are so unique and beautiful. Thank you. Can I buy on line?

I had purchased several very nice Alaska made gifts and unfortunately one piece did not make the trip home very well. Actually it was glass and it cracked from the insufficient packaging. We had given it as a gift so it was quite embarrassing when our friend opened it. I called the store and spoke with the manager Lauren and she was as sweet and concerned as can be. After I emailed Lauren the picture she immediately checked her stock and found she had two sizes in stock. She recommended that I take them both as a set. They arrived within a few days and when I asked her what I owed her store, she told me there was no charge due to the inconvenience. That in my opinion is customer service working at 110 %
Caribou Crossing of Juneau Alaska is a shop that I highly recommend.

One of the few local stores left in Juneau. They have a great array of artwork and items by Alaskan Artists. They have a wealth of knowledge and are some of the nicest people in Juneau.
