So much history to learn, beautifully displayed and retold by its’ people. Quick film is super informative, as we didn’t grow up in the PNW and have little base knowledge of the Suquamish people. Likely the best museum of an indigenous nation we’ve ever visited. Restrooms and small gift shop on site. Free parking.

Very friendly staff. It's a small place but rich in heritage. Took my homeschooled son here. Staff was very informative and helpful in maximizing his learning experience. Has a playground rich in culture and fun for kids. We also visited Chief Seattle's gravesite. Well maintained buildings inside and outdoor areas very well cared for. Highly recommend visiting. Parking is a little confusing.

This was truly so amazing and educational! There’s an awesome video you watch before entering the actual exhibit, and the layout and design of the whole place is beautiful. Clearly a lot of effort went into properly displaying this amazing culture. If you visit, definitely spend time reading the historical timeline of the Suquamish, it sheds light on a lot of things!

Thoughtful displays on history and tools of their tribe. The timeline on one wall is very detailed and helpful. Left with a great respect for their culture and heritage. Afterwards visited Chief Seattle's nearby gravesite.

Smaller museum, but really new and clean. The exhibit was a great addition to a Bainbridge trip. Everyone should check it out! It's a great way to recognize the oft forgotten history of the area.

Such an interesting, rich history. The language is beautiful and soft. The museum is lovely and the displays are written in English and Suquamish as best can be written since there was no written language originally.

Saw an amazing exhibit: Deconstructing Edward Curtis, and it was a much needed rewrite of white-centric history. I will stop by this museum everytime I'm in the area. I can't wait to see what comes next here. Excellent curation especially considering the small square footage size of this museum. Kudos to the curation team.

First time here. It's a small museum but real nice. Perfect for an outing with my senior citizens. Artifacts were interesting to learn about. I'm a long time WA resident, but I love learning about First Nations people.

We are so fortunate to be able to learn from past indigenous peoples. Very well done displays. Kids can run around the play area outside. If you have wanted to buy inspired works of art, buy at the gift shop (no tax). Cool, friendly people work here. I appreciate all your hard work to make the museum an incredible stop on my trip.

This is a wonderful little museum. The building itself is worth seeing. The staff was super helpful. I highly recommend a visit. We were there during the Canoe event so the museum was free but we’ll worth a donation.

Being unfamiliar with the area and it's history, this museum was incredibly enlightening. Carefully curated, the small space is packed with rich stories and histories of the Squamish people. A fantastic mixture of history, culture and archeology reveal a narrative of the area in a beautiful way. The space is dynamic and enamoring as well.

This museum was amazing! I just visited it and was grateful for taking the time. You start out with a 5 minute video explaining the history of long house. Afterwards you go to the exhibit section, small yet informative, that has great pictures, artifacts, and displays.
The staff working was extremely friendly. I got a cup and I am super excited to use it.

I took a class on how cedar earrings are made. Very educational and eye opening. It was great to learn about the culture and traditions and how to be in harmony with the trees.

A perfect place to learn about the Suquamish culture, stories and peoples. There is a must check out gift shoppe. See the artifacts, read about the people. Watch a short sequence video which tells about the symbolic reverence of the animals and fish.
