Timberline Bar & Grill

Being a resident of Juneau, we found a gem at the top of the Mountain Roberts Tram that we have often overlooked. Great food and a spectacular view of the Gastineau Channel, Juneau and Douglas Island.

Our stop at Juneau,Alaska was really amazing but finally will breathe taking we on the Goldbelt Tram to see a more spectacular view of Juneau and looking the beauty of Juneau. There's a restaurant called Timberline Bar & Grill on the top on monut. After looking the incredible view we were getting little bit hungry and the restaurant is just right there the restaurant looks very nice with Alaskan native art and totem including black bear and mountain goat hives on the wall very impressive. We were looking at the menu we were not that hungry we need a snack then we decided to get nachos Alaskan style.

We got the half of nachos they give us a number and waited we noticed there's a bar cool. Then they brought our nachos it was big we took a bite we notice a crunch in ever chip. The nachos have sour cream,black beans,guacamole and other items. They were so good so much flavors in the nachos we don't know what hell these Alaskan did to the nachos. The chips were crispy and crunch didn't fall apart to the end.

The Halibut and Chips were great, but very few fries for the largest order. Halibut pieces are shrinking in size.
Bar is good with friendly service.
This is great place when the cruise people are gone.
I wish they cared about their local customers to stay open for them.

What a beautiful view and friendly staff. Portions were enormous, and the blueberry pie was to die for. I was so excited to find that they offer a vegan option, the delicious Impossible Burger, which was fantastic. Husband had the crab nachos (their specialty) and was very happy with them.

Pretty pricey but the waitress is so sweet, the view is amazing, and the burger was pretty bomb too! Worth it!

You have 2see & taste 4ur-self....

Well, it's a cool place to grab a meal or drink because of the stunning views. But it's no atmosphere other than that. Obviously, it's a place for tourists.

The local beer selection is top notch and being the only bar in Juneau with the Chuli Stout on nitro is impressive. The wild Tongass Burger was very delicious. The burger was moist, the toppings were superb and the service was prompt.

Really a chilly experience,at river side,some vintage displays at the backyard ,a real "timber"ly place.With a Sun ,in the sky taking a very brief off ,and a major part of the 24 hours ,occupied by the daylight.Very unique experience.
