The Island Pub

We visited The Island Pub on our own cruise ship excursion in Juneau. The food was tasty and plentiful. The tomato 🍅 soup 🍲 was fantastic. Service was friendly and efficient. I highly recommend The Island Pub!

Legitimately bomb pizza. We had a pizza with roasted garlic, mushrooms, arugula, some nice white cheeses (maybe including gouda?), and a honey drizzle. The crust was thin and crispy. Super surprised to find this in Juneau.

Top shelf joint. A must hit destination if you find yourself in Juneau. The beer is cold, the pizza is phenomenal! We went twice in 2 weeks. Both times I got the "First date". If you like garlic, this is the za for you. Just remember this... every pizza is a personal pizza if you believe in yourself. The view is out of this world beautiful.

We were on a cruise ship and found them on google and decided to get out of the tourist trap and have some wings and pizza! Well this local spot is great. Great looking, great food and people. It's about a 15 minute cab ride from the ship terminal. If I am in Juneau / Douglas area I will be back! If you are on a ship, get of town for a bit and enjoy!!

Best pizza in town, hands down, and the waitress I get is always such a great host. Very much a 10 out of 10, in my opinion, for pizza and service. Definitely try there other food also if you're not into pizza you won't be disappointed.

Update Oct '23: The "Smokin' hot funghi pizza" is still a winner, with mushroom, garlic, sausage, arugula, and that subtle crowning touch of honey.

The caprese salad was fresh and delicious with a nice balsamic dressing.

The venue still has its charm, with warm colors and hard-working staff and a full happy crowd on a weeknight.

Have the chowder! Incredibly flavorful salmon, stock full of vegetables, not overwhelmed by cream, very satisfying. Incredible colorful mountain views. The "hot fungi" pizza was a-a-a-mazing! Mushroom, roasted garlic, arugula and honey - the flavors work so well together. The place was busy, noisy, and had a fun atmosphere. Staff were hard-working and polite. Everything was great about this place.

Smoked salmon spread is insane and the steak sandwich is just stupid good. Absolutely my favorite pub in the Juneau area and the only one I’ve bothered reviewing as of yet.

The best pizza in SE Alaska! Located on Douglas Island across from downtown Juneau. It worth the trip over. They hold a contest for the best local pizza recipes every year then put the winners on the menu. Absolutely amazing views!! Good selection of beers. Great local restaurant!

This is a delicious local pizza pub, my local family enjoys coming here for a nice treat. We ordered Togo while visiting town and the Four Little Pigs and Tuscany pizzas were super delicious and I would recommend to anyone wanting to try something different.

After a long day hiking their pizza hit the spot. Possibly the best specialty pizza I've ever had. I got a michelada for a drink which was also really good. The salmon chowder was ok, but the garlic bread dipping peices were really good. The salmon chowder at Alaska Fish & Chips Company is the best, but definitely come here for the pizza. Staff was friendly, and there were great views. Place was packed which is a testament to how good it is.

The menu is diverse. We ordered ALASKA Brew Raspberry Wheat, Ckn Wings, Filthy Martini, Pesto sando w/ orzo, Turkey & Melted Gouda sando with tomato soup. Everything was perfect.

Some of the best pizza I've ever had and I travel all across the country. Don't be afraid to try any of the specialty pizzas even if the ingredients are different combinations that you are used to. I love sitting at the bar so I don't have to wait

The Island Pub sits in Douglas with a wonderful view of the water. They have a warm, cozy atmosphere with soft lighting that glows. The smooth concrete bar lends a modern vibe completed by the sleek all black uniforms worn by the staff. The food was spectacular as was the service. The BLT was delicious and the prices were typical of Juneau.

Oh my gosh, yum! My husband works in Juneau for the summer and I came up to visit him and he told me we had to get something from here. Because of the dreary and rainy day, we decided to stay in and order pizza for takeout from The Island Pub. It didn’t take me long to select the Blue Boar and I was not disappointed! Besides being ready super fast, it was still so hot and fresh when my husband returned home minutes after heading to the restaurant. The combination of the toppings was absolutely perfect and the crust was cooked to perfection!

Great food. Great service. Great views and atmosphere. My son and I love this place.

This was a Great find! Great seating, clean, friendly and a pretty good view too. The food was AMAZING! Quick service and seems like lots of locals, which tells me it's consistent. I will be going back again and taking friends too 😉

I really enjoyed the Island Pub. The Salmon dip was good and I thoroughly enjoyed the pizza. That grilled flavor in the pizza was amazing. Also, some interesting toppings are available for you to customize your pizza or try something new.

Great comfortable yet modern atmosphere, tasty drinks and delicious food! Fantastic place to unwind and grab food with friends or family! Highly recommended!

Not the best photo, but probably the best pizza I have ever had (and I’ve been to some of the best pizzerias in the world)! The Bigfoot is what I ordered and it was to die for.

The only critique I would have on the pizza, is smaller cloves of garlic (some were kinda big). But that’s only me nitpicking!

2549 out of 10 would recommend The Island Pub on Douglas!

Side note: more visitors from Juneau need to visit Douglas! It is BEAUTIFUL and the views from both sides are worth the drive!

I've been here multiple times and have yet to have an experience that I didn't enjoy. Delicious pizza as well as other offerings, can see into the kitchen as well from some areas of the dining room.. Plus you can enjoy the view below sitting in the bar area 🤷‍♂
