Wonderful dentist! The staff is fantastic, both Allison and Dr. Hulver are extremely kind and accommodating. Been going here the past few years and never had a better experience with a dentist. Highly recommend this place!

Always excellent. Been going for a four years now and always get the best personal treatment. My wife introduced me to Dr. Hulver when we got married, four years ago. The service is excellent. Dr. Hulver always goes above and beyond to ensure her patients are taken care of and the procedure is done to perfection every time. No question, she is the best!

Dr. Hulver is wonderful! She’s the first dentist that took the time to listen to my concerns and address them versus just rushing me through my cleaning. The office is lovely and her staff is amazing.

I loved this practice! My dentist of 30 years retired, and I didn’t like the people that took over the practice. My wife found this place and enjoyed her experience so I gave it a try. Everyone was super friendly through the whole experience, including me having to reschedule my appointment. More importantly, they were very clear about exactly what they were doing, why they were doing it, and they would use the information. The cleaning process was gentle and fast. They were very helpful in suggesting options for things that they suspected would eventually come up. They had a couple suspicions about sleep apnea, and suggested working on that with me, but they were not pushy in any way. It didn’t seem at all like an upsell, they seemed like they were genuinely trying to help me. They were fun and pleasant. I had a great experience and I would recommend them to everyone!

I'm a 70 yo guy in great health and recently had major implant and crown work done by Dr. Hulver and her team over the last 2 years. All I can say is if you are considering major dental work, this is the team you want to work on you. Dr Hulver is straight forward in her assessments, thorough, and is the gentlest dentist I have ever had. She is totally in-synch with her Oral Surgeon and Lab, and presents you with comprehensive a plan to correct compound situations like mine. In addition, she documents in x-rays and photos to make sure there are no missing perspectives. Having her team work on me was well worth the cost. If you need help with major work or just routine care, try Metropolitan. Her membership plan for two exams/cleanings & X-rays annually, is less expensive than commercial insurance (think Delta Dental), plus you get 10% off all other costs. Rick McHarg

UPDATE May 2024: I really can't say enough great things about this team. Allison is fantastic! She is always so positive and warm whether in person or on the phone. Dr. Hulver is compassionate, gentle and a perfectionist. I just finished up Invisalign, followed it up with teeth whitening, and finally, bonding to even out a few teeth to really perfect my smile. I have received so many compliments that I had to update my review from 2 years ago. I'm a big baby when it comes to going to the dentist but not with this team. Even the teeth whitening was easy and I had no pain at all!!
I started off with the original Kelliher family dentistry crew and although am sad not to see them around this office anymore, they should be proud of how things are still running today.

Very pleasant and calming atmosphere. How calming, my Oura tracked me taking a nap from 1:36p-3:14p during the procedure. Dr. Caitlin Hulver is the best. Very precise and gentle and explains everything that is going on. Allison and Nash welcome you and keep you updated and also explain everything that is going on.
Never felt so relaxed in a Dentist Office.

Just stopped in for my Semi-Annual Dental cleaning and check-up. Great news! Everything is perfect. “No. cavities” again, due to the exceptional and very caring dental service I always receive from Dr Hulver and her great team at Metropolitan Dental Center. Metropolitan Dental Center is always attractive, spotlessly maintained, comfortable and pleasant, and Dr. Hulver and her team always make our family feel welcome, well cared for and part of their professional family. Allison, at the reception desk, is always pleasant, has a great smile, always keeps us in the loop and provides a welcome “heads up” prior to our scheduled appointments. The Dental Techs are always caring and professional. Metropolitan Dental Center is definitely the best dental practice I have ever been to, and at 80 years young, I have been to quite a few. I highly recommend! I’ve gotten a couple of cleanings and post-Invisalign cosmetic work and always had a positive experience with the office. The staff and the office manager in particular are very customer service oriented. Dr. Hulver is incredibly meticulous and even though a lot of my work was cosmetic, she ensured the best treatment plan, for both the quality of my teeth and aesthetically.

Dr. Hulver is so gentle and caring! She knew how much dental treatment makes me anxious and, even though I was having a complicated procedure, she took time to make sure I was ok and keep me comfortable. Nash, her assistant, is also very caring and kind. Overall a wonderful experience!

Dr Hulver and her staff are fantastic clinicians who also have the kindness and gentleness that made us bring our 91 year old parents/in-laws with complete confidence into her care. Dr Hulver is so patient and so thorough and she pursued a nerve-related problem that I believe other dentists would have missed or assumed was someone else’s issue to address. We are thrilled with the care we receive there and recommend her practice highly. She is not quick to propose intervention or procedures, but is meticulous in tracking potential issues. Perfect balance of careful and precise with patient and understanding.

Upon the advice of a friend who travels 80 miles round trip to see Dr. Dan, I began seeing him about two years ago and have received outstanding care in a warm and caring environment. Recently, old fillings on a front tooth and the adjoining eye tooth crumbled. First of all, no dentist in my almost 70 years has ever spent as much time on fillings as did Dr. Dan. Secondly, the old fillings had always been obvious and an aesthetic issue. I was amazed to find that the new fillings are not detectable and in fact are almost creating the illusion that my teeth are straight. True, Dr. Dan specializes in cosmetic dentistry, but I had only contracted for fillings. Yet I got a nicer smile. I commend Dr. Dan for his professionalism, his artistry and for choosing a staff that makes visiting the dentist--well, delightful.

The above is an old review. I don’t know why it got posted again. Since I wrote that review, the practice has transitioned to Dr. Hulver. I still love going to the dentist! For all the same reasons. Everyone at Metropolitan Dental is professional, compassionate and most importantly, over the top competent. My 80 year old teeth are functioning very well, and I don’t think it’s genetic. I receive excellent care.
One last thing: Everyone is friendly, always knows you, shares their lives and interests, and are the kind of people you want in your circle of friends.

Great as usual! I have been a long time patient and always feel so cared for. They are personable and fun, yet professional and skilled at their work. I always feel welcomed and comfortable when I go and it makes going to the dentist a lovely experience!
