They were very friendly and helpful/patient with us doing two kids' passport applications in one appointment. They had a second clerk who kept the line moving for customers with mail.

Notwithstanding the many negative reviews I've seen posted, I went to this post office (South Station on S. Glebe Rd.) to take care of my passport renewal. I found the staff to be very helpful, and expeditious. In my observance, other customers were also receiving good assistance. FWIW.

I've been coming here since 2008 when I move to Arlington. Since then, I've dealt with several employees as they come and go. Overtime some of the various services they provided to me are passport to include taking photos, purchasing postage, helping me to select the most effective options for mailing and most of all they provide great customer service. Thanks guys!

I have been here so many times and seen screaming angry customers acting entitled, I feel so bad for the PERFECTLY LOVELY employees. I don’t know how they put up with it, but I hope at least they get dental coverage for it.

The staffs are very helpful and kind, especially Ms Chelsea (hope got right her name). When I went she is the only staff who is working at both mailing services and passport applications.
A long line but she did managed at her best. I am sure she got really exhausted that day.

I had the most friendly and uplifting visit to any federal government building this morning. I was greeted by a genuinely kind postal employee on the front walk with a smile as big as the sky. His coworker opened the window exactly on time. A young man behind me in line needed help with sending something and the bright funny banter was heart warming. The young man asked quite a few questions and with a big smile the employee working the retail area laughed don't worry I am here to help.

Why can't all of us know this kind of happiness in our lives

I am so tired of postal workers being slammed. I go to this branch frequently and have always had excellent service, no matter what I needed. The women who run the counter really know what they're doing. They are extremely efficient, have a good sense of humour and suggest services you didn't know existed. For instance, I didn't know you could have a package tracked and get a signature without filling out any forms. I also got my passport through this branch with no problems. Put yourselves in their place and see how well you do.

I am posting this review today as the manager at this facility was incredibly helpful this morning - during the busiest time of their year.

I know that there are a lot of negative comments about this post office -- and I haven't always had the friendliest service BUT today the customer service I received from this manager was exemplary. I wish there was a way I could commend him in a performance review! He solved a problem, located a package and handed it to me. He was pleasant, kind and understanding. He reminded me of the Post Master at the small Post Office of my childhood -- where there was not nearly the under-staffing and under-funding that there is at this facility. Thank you!

Came here to renew my passport. The lady was so nice and helpful. I didn’t know I could’ve filled out the application online. She was patient with me and let me fill it out, didn’t rush or anything. Thank you Tracey(forgive me if I misspelled your name).

Phenomenal. I don't go to the post office often- for fear of long lines and high costs. The chips were stacked against me; it was Friday afternoon and I held parcels with international customs fees. I reluctantly walked in and to my surprise I was first in line- warmly greeted with a smiling face. I did not catch her name but she was clerk 10 on my receipt. Without my prompting, she went out of her way to look up alternative lower costs. She even gave me the option to remove a few ounces from my package to significantly cut down the cost. I left with complete satisfaction and holding a sleeve of Wonder Woman stamps. It was a win-win!

Today, 12/30, I had some issues in mailing a letter A gentleman by the name of of Wayne helped me and many people on the line. If you are looking for an example of great customer service, look no further than Wayne.

The lady in charge of the passport service is very nice and friendly. She patiently answered all my questions, even though she is extremely busy and short-handed. It is nice to get the passport here.

As a young man i had no problems with this office, so what if a line was a little long, you have to wait in traffic everyday right? I dont usually comment or give reviews but i just saw and knew that all the negative views and low stars come from Spoiled Rich Arlington citizens, take from this what you can..peace and love

I usually go on Saturdays and rarely have to wait. The process is always smooth and quicker than I expected. I wish the office stayed open later on Saturdays, but otherwise I am pleased with the service provided.

Always a wonderful experience at the post office. Yes it's true you have to wait in line but you have to wait in line wherever you go!!

The workers at the actual post office are always helpful, attentive, and make sure my packages always get sent out in a timely manner. Y'all are appreciated!!
