I have been getting my taxes done with Michael for 7 years now. I was referred to him by a friend of mine. I always go into my appointment with all of my needed paperwork so our appointment is easy breezy. He always try to find the most deductions I qualify for and save me money. For anyone looking for a new accountant give him a try.

We cannot speak highly enough of Mr. Kang and his team. We were previously doing our tax return ourselves but it was becoming a nightmare after adding a rental property and investments, etc. so we reached out to Mr. Kang last fall and it has been a seamless process ever since. We had a short virtual meeting initially to discuss all tax relevant details of our lives and and this spring he filed all of our returns without issue. We met briefly again this spring just to go through a few questions he had, and he is so thorough, we feel so much relief having a professional do it and have no doubt that everything is being filed correctly now. Michael responded to my request for assistance the same day; set up a zoom call and was generous w/ his time in answering my many accounting and tax-related questions; and assisted me with obtaining an EIN and S Corp Declaration for my new business. Mr. Kang and Julia were amazing — these are the best accountants in Northern Virginia hands down. They were both extremely knowledgeable and patient, explaining every step of what was a very complex tax situation. Their pricing was very reasonable and they treat their clients “like family.” They took all of the stress out of tax season for me. This was my first time doing my taxes. Mr. Kang and his office had my taxes done at no cost. Other places charge me $500 for a 15 minute phone session. Mr. Kang and his associates are VERY polite and prompt. They answered all of my questions in a timely fashion, and made it easier for me to figure my financials out. They were always there to help and made my life a heck of a lot easier. This business deserves 6/5 stars. They absolutely rock.

My office needed to get corporate taxes done so we consulted with Mr. Kang for the first time. We are amazed with the efficacy and professionalism that Kang and Thomas LLC exude. Their prices are EXTREMELY reasonable. I’d also like to give thanks to his assistant, Julia. She was always available to help with any questions I had. She would answer my emails very quickly and would get back to me promptly with any questions I had. Julia is the absolute best.

This is my first time I feel relief and at peace with my tax return. Michael and I filed the return together in his office, making the process extremely smooth. He is an honest man and provides excellent service to his clients.
